Our Strive against the Culture of Slaves
1. Mr. Redha Abdel-Rahman Ali is a young Islamic researcher. He publishes his writings here on our site and other Internet sites such as: Arab Times and Civilized Dialogue. He is also a member of the research section of our site “Ahl-Al-Qur’an”. Mr. Ali is a moderate writer and open for any critique that might be directed towards his researches. All what Mr. Ali says and writes is published. This is our policy in our reform to depend on open publications. It is impossible to reform people secretly or hold a dialogue with them in whispers. Publication, frankness and openness are essential. However, the only crime Mr. Ali had committed was that he is one of my relatives. He and I have no choice in that. This is pure destiny. However, the Egyptian regime during Mubarak reign based on the Emergency law applications that been active since 1981, has made all my relatives and family members criminals simply because they are my relatives. Based on that, the regime, after solving all Egypt’s problems, turned to persecute my relatives and Mr. Ali was an example. As usual, this regime in applying the Emergency law uses the relatives as hostages as long as it cannot reach me.

2. What crime did we commit? We are peacefully called for religious and political reform by reverting to the Holy Qur’an. This might be a normal thing. Calling for reforms is coming from all directions even within the ruling party. Whatever we say about the political system of Mubarak is nothing compared with the intensity of criticism that regime faces in Egypt in both the Government and independent media. So, what’s the reason that we are exposed to all this persecution? We only have one avenue to vent that is this site, Ahl-Al-Qur’an. The reason for that is because we concentrate on the religious base that this ruling regime and its clergy are based on. This regime is continuing to strive on intellectual basis produced by the Moslems’ terrestrial religions. This intellectual basis that supports oppression. It is the culture of slaves.

3. The culture of slaves is providing the despot all the excuses to blame his followers and the oppressed under the torture if they dared to scream and seek the International Community’s help represented in its human rights organizations. This culture considers that the despot has the right to do whatever sees fit to tame his people and impose his power on them simply because he is the state. In other words, the international community has no rights to intervene peacefully or politically to remove the oppression from the groups and individuals that suffer from persecution and torture. The despot sees their involvement as an intervention in the local affairs o of the state. In this case the state (Egyptian State) has been dwarfed and shrank in the one Egyptian citizen, i.e. Hosni Mubarak. The culture of slave has very important position in the Sunni religion that is adopted by the Military Junta in Egypt and also, being the religion of Al-Azhar establishment together with the “Moslem Brotherhood” and both their secret and public organizations. So, everyone forget their differences and unite against Ahl-Al-Qur’an (The People of Quran). The persecution of the People of Qur’an continues under everybody’d watch and getting blessed by the addicts of the culture of slaves and the followers of the Sunni religion.

4. We are totally confident that once we get rid of this culture of slaves, there will be no place for oppression in Egypt and won’t be any existence for the Brotherhood and their organizations. In this case, it will be replaced by the culture of human rights, civilian rights, justice and democracy. Everyone would understand that Egypt is not just a geographic entity, but a home for every Egyptian citizen lives inside or outside Egypt. This nation is equally divided among all the 80 million Egyptians irrespective of their religion, gender or economical background. In this case only, the culture of the slaves that personifies the whole nation in one (Hosni Mubarak) will disappear. This culture that gives him the right to enslave and torture and take relatives as hostages, for those he cannot reach, under the Emergency Law. This culture that contradicts the true religion, justice and high morals.

5. For this goal, we are striving and struggling to get rid of the culture of slaves that dominated the intellectual spectrum of the Arabs and Egyptians through the centuries. For this Mr. Redha Abdel-Rahman Ali is paying the price. We will continue to pay the price till the Egyptian people get rid of this culture. We shall have the honor to strive with our writings to defend the Egyptian honor and the integrity of the Egyptian human being so the result would be to face the armory of the Egyptian Army.
