Please join us to celebrate the contributions of Sen. Charles E. Schumer and the vision of one of our founders, Michael Maggio.
Immigrants' List is pleased to recognize Sen. Charles E. Schumer (D-N.Y.) with the Michael Maggio Award, which is conferred annually on a member of Congress who evidences by words or deeds a firm commitment to advancing the interests of immigrants. A member of the Senate Judiciary Committee and Chair of its Immigration Subcommittee, Sen. Schumer is the leading proponent in the Senate for comprehensive immigration reform. Just recently, he, along with Senator Graham, met with President Obama to chart a path for immigration overhaul.
The Michael Maggio Award honors the memory of the nationally recognized immigration lawyer who was one of the founders of Immigrants' List.
