The IQC condemns The Mubarak regime in Egypt
The International Quranic center denounces the ruling Junta in Egypt for
their exploitation of the Egyptian Judicial institution, by shamefully
using it for settling their old accounts with their political foes, and
for their oppression of the political activists and those working in
political and religious reforms.

enforce the laws and provide justice to the people of Egypt, but instead
to lay the foundation for tyranny and to punish all reformers and free
thinkers. Dr. Saad-Eldeen Ibrahim paid dearly the price of his peaceful
struggle for freedom, and was unjustly sentenced and spent several years
in jail, while the agents of this corrupt junta, and dictator regime,
enjoy the benefits and spoils of their corruption without any deterrent.
Several months ago and for the third time, the Egyptian regime, using
its corrupt judiciary in a police state arrested, jailed and tortured
some of the Quranists, and today they are repeating the same thing by
sentencing Dr. Sad-Eldin to two years in jail, just to scare and prevent
him from returning back to his country, Egypt.
The Egyptian regime did not learn and does not want to learn a lesson
from all the developments that is taking place in a world that is
getting smaller every day, a world where the international community,
represented by the United Nations and its judicial and legal bodies,
including the World court of justice, had gained the right to put on
trial any "head of state" who commits crimes against his people or
against humanity. It will not be long before the whole world witnesses
some of those so-called leaders who abused their power to rule their
powerless people and use their military not to defend their country but
to defend them instead, and to subjugate their citizens to the worse
injustice and oppression.
The ruling junta did not learn, and will never learn, not until victory
and freedom find their way to the Egyptian people, perhaps at dawn, (the
time will be at dawn, and Dawn is near).
