Dear Friends and Colleagues,

Many of you may have heard about the demonstrations that took place on April 6, 2010 across Egypt. I hope you might have a moment to watch this 4-minute video clip that my friends ...., and I put together.

Ayman Nour gives a chilling account of the events that transpired at the Al Ghad Headquarters that day. He describes the brutality by Egyptian State security forces as he joined his eldest son, Noor Ayman Nour and hundreds of other young Egyptian activists in a peaceful demonstration calling for Constitutional reform and other basic human rights in Egypt. Nour vows to, "Spread the message far and wide, both nationally, and internationally: We will fight for the rights of our children, not only my child (who was arrested and sustained injuries), but for all those young people who were injured yesterday". He makes other strong statements about the cause for freedom of expression and human rights in Egypt, and appeals for national and international solidarity in this struggle.
