Egypt, Russia look to build on relations
The Russian Foreign Ministry has said that foreign and defense ministers of Russia and Egypt will soon agree on a comprehensive meeting aimed at developing relations in economic, military and technological sectors.
Russian Novosti news agency quoted a statement from the Russian Foreign Ministry website as saying that the meeting will address key areas for coordinating foreign policy and other partnerships.
Russian foreign and defense ministers are arriving in Egypt on Wednesday for a two-day visit.
A senior official at the Russian Rosoboronexport company for exporting weapons and equipment said on Friday that Russia is ready to supply Egypt with arms.
