University of Montana at Missoula - Visiting Instructor/Assistant Professor
of Middle Eastern history

Middle East. The Department of History at The University of Montana invites
applications for a one-year visiting appointment as an instructor or
assistant professor of Middle Eastern history with an emphasis on the Arab
World/Ottoman Empire (nineteenth century to the present). Position begins


August 23, 2010 and is possibly renewable. Courses will include the modern
Arab world and the Arab-Israeli conflict, among other possibilities. Salary
