Sadat Accuses Ministry of Interior & Menofia Head of Security of Defamation & Negligence
Mr. Anwar Esmat el Sadat directly accuses the Ministry of Interior and Head of Security in Menofia of engaging in negligence and acting in bad faith, causing defamation to his election campaign. This accusation comes at a time when the Ministry of Interior and Menofia Head of Security refused to implement a court order issued in favor of Sadat from the Administrative Court in accordance with Article 123 of the Penal Code, thus directing the Supreme Committee for Elections and Ministry of Interior to honor a reversal of his “seat” status from Categories to Farmers representation. Mr. Sadat called for the Minister himself and the Head of Security in Menofia to face detention and removal from office.
