Interview with Nada Hashwi, Political Analyst.

Saudi Forces have been equated with Israelis with their violent attacks on innocent civilians, demolishing of houses and mosques and burning of the Qur'an.

Press TV interviewed Political Analyst Nada Hashwi about the atrocities occurring in Bahrain and how the enemies are trying to create a sectarian conflict.

Press TV: The recent situation in Bahrain is that Libya for the most part interestingly has been the focus of attention in most of the world's media. There is very little talk of Bahrain and what's happening there. Why do you think Bahrain has slide off the radar?

Hashwi: That is very obvious. It's because Bahrain in its ruling regime is the number one or maybe the second US ally. They are definitely going to keep quiet about what is going on. The US gets paid enough by the Saudis to keep their mouth shut regarding the genocide, tortures and killings that have been happening. What the Bahrain has done lately has really stepped over the red line.

We saw the priest in Florida burn a copy of the holy Qur'an and what we have seen in Bahrain lately is the Khalifa burning dozens of Qur'ans. I see some similarities. Let me remind you that it's like a déjà vu to me with how the Israeli-Zionist state is behaving in Palestine with the destruction of homes, mosques and killing of people. They are using the same technique with their own people. What are they doing exactly? I have no idea. They are trying so hard to bring it into a sectarian war, but until now it has not happened.

The Bahraini people whether it's Sunni or Shia are very well aware of what's happening. This Khalifa dictator has to be removed immediately because as I am saying he is very backed up by the Saudis and the Saudis are the number one ally to the US. The US is keeping their eyes closed with what's happening. That is why they are always making us busy with something else whether it's Libya or Yemen or Syria.

They are trying their hardest to do something. They don't care about the regime, but of course let's not forget about Bahrain and what it is to the US. It's the largest fleet for the US. This is what's happening with the burning of the Quran and the destruction of mosques. This is beyond explanation to me. We are talking about Islam. A Muslim person would not do something like this.

What are we showing to the West here? What is basically the outcome of these things, and what are they doing? Are they really thinking about their actions, or is the chair or the ruling that much important to them. I see they are just going out of their minds. They don't know what to do anymore because they wanted Iran to get involved from the beginning.

However, Iran is way wiser than to actually get involved in something like this. I think we are going to see more vicious actions towards the protesters. I really can't say what it could be. After the burning of the Qur'an, anything goes now.

Press TV: Every attack is really troubling and disturbing when you see an attack on anyone. But you know it especially gets bad when you see medical professionals are targeted because it's not only impacting one person. It impacts that person along with the people who had the chance of being treated whether five, ten, or fifteen. You name how many people could have been treated in a situation like this. What do you think the Bahraini government is really trying to target?

Hashwi: They are basically trying to diminish every single Shia person in Bahrain. They just want to commit genocide, and get rid of all of them. How can you explain such a small country's majority population being ruled by the minority, which is a crucial dictatorship? Don't forget he made it to be a monarchy. This is a plan. If you look back a monarchy means this actual land is his. So he can do whatever he wants with it. He can kill.

He's taking us back to the old days like the 16th century. He is saying he can do whatever he wants with the people. He can kill and destroy houses. The last thing he did was the mosque. What kind of religion does this person have? If he goes and burns the holy Qur'an, we are talking about something that shouldn't be touched. What's going on in this world? I believe the US and its allies, and you know exactly who they are, they are going into a turning point, which is like a point of no return.

They don't know what to do anymore. The United States is torn up between their allies and its own value. We see their allies killing and destroying. Where are the human rights in all of this? We see the United States singing about how people should be treated, and look at the destruction in Bahrain. We see no human rights whatsoever. So the ruling regime is using a Zionist technique just like the Zionists want to get rid of the Palestinians. The Khalifa wants to get rid of the Shia, which is unfortunate.

However, what I'm telling him from now is the way I see it is that it will backfire right in his face. I believe the United States hasn't learned yet what the Arabs can do. They don't care. They can offer their own lives in order to get their own dignity and freedom. The United States has never learned from any mistakes they have made already. So if they want to keep backing up these kinds of regimes, they are going to end up in a point of no return.

Press TV: It's been 60 years almost for the Israeli regime's inability to fully clamp down on the Palestinian nation. As you said, there is going to be a lesson someone has to learn. These are all tested and old techniques.

The Bahraini government in the year 2011 started acquiring the same technique of cracking down on its own nation. Will the Bahraini government be able to clamp down on its own people and quell what they term as violence using the same old techniques of the Israeli regime in Palestine that is coming down hard on people?

Hashwi: They are not going to stop. They are going to do whatever they can in order to destroy. Of course they are not going to be called terrorists like Israel is never a terrorist country. Israel is a very well known state, which is very respected by the Westerners and America. The Bahrainis are trying to do the same thing. In Bahrain, it would be very difficult for them to actually succeed.

We are dealing with the people. We are dealing with Bahrainis. They are not considered Bahrainis for some odd reason just because they are Shia. Enough with this sectarian game, for this is a Western and in particularly a Zionist game. They have tried to play it all over the Middle East. They want to try and make it succeed in Bahrain, but I don't think it will succeed this way.

The Khalifa will keep doing whatever he can to try and kill more of the protesters, and we see that they are not even using any weapons against the ruling regime. They want to keep it the way it is. He will never succeed. I think it's going to backfire in front of his face. It's definitely backed up by Saudis. Let's not forget what is happening right now in Saudi Arabia, but definitely the media is so very well secured there that we don't know what is going on. It's going to move to Saudi Arabia and Kuwait and God knows where.
