About Maimonides
Published in June 27, 2019
Question: … Dear Sir, … The Jewish thinker Maimonides employed the Aristotelian thought to interpret the Torah; why do not you do the same in your Quranist writings? Why are you using your mind only to ponder the Quranic terminology? … Thank you …
Answer:
The methodology of Maimonides is wrong. Of course, the Quran has nothing to do the distorted books of the Old Testament; the Bible has nothing to do with the true Torah revealed by God and which existed in Arabia and revered by the Israelites there during Muhammad's lifetime; see 5:43-44. We are commanded in the Quran to ponder it and to use it as the Criterion; see 6:114, 4:82, and 47:24. We ponder the Quranic terminology in a certain manner inspired from the Quran itself and we thus have shown the unspoken-of Quranic facts of Islam; this Quranist methodology is exemplified in these two English articles of ours:

Fornication and Female Slaves
Published in June 28, 2019
Question: … Dear Sir, … Some Shiites and some Sunnites of today and in former eras have assumed that it is OK to have sex (without marriage) with women deemed as female captured slaves; how is that? What about extramarital sex within mutual consent? … Thank you …
Answer:
Of course, the Muhammadans contradict the Quranic sharia laws in their terrestrial, earthly religions of Satan. Marriage in Islam is documented in written contracts signed by witnesses and husbands pay dowries to their wives; mutual consent is essential in marriage, even if this marriage is temporary. In contrast, fornication is done in secret and without contracts and witnesses. Enslavement/slavery is forbidden in Islam (i.e., Quranism); see our book, in English, titled "Slavery: A Fundamental Historical Overview", found on this link:

Sheikh and Old Man
Published in June 28, 2019
Question: … Dear Sir, … The Arabic word "Sheikh" indicates a rank among clergymen; yet, the same word in the Quran means any old man in general; right? What do you think? … Thank you …
Answer:
You are absolutely right; there is no clergymen in Islam; the Quranic term (sheikh) refers to any old man and never to any ecclesiastical ranks; see 12:78 and 28:23. Old women are mentioned in 26:171, 51:29, and 37:135. Both old, senile men and old, senile women are mentioned here: 16:70 and 22:5.

Shortening of Garments, Again!
Published in June 28, 2019
Question: … Dear Sir, … I'm convinced with your view that shortening of garments for men has nothing to do with Islam; yet, what is the source of this strange Salafist/Wahabi notion, then? … Thank you …
Answer:
The source is the history book by the historian Ibn Saad titled (Al-Tabakat Al-Kobra) as he describes Muhammad's companions and the garments they used to wear, the fashions they followed after growing rich from ill-gotten money of the Arab conquests, how they wore their beards...etc. The ignoramuses of Salafism are like cattle who never understand anything because of their bovine stupidity; they assume they must imitate these dead deities in their lifestyle and garments.

Of course you have that right; as per Islamic legislations and as per modern laws, it is the duty of your sons to provide for you and care for you in your old age.

Stingy!
Published in June 29, 2019
Question: … Dear Sir, … When I never give certain information to someone, am I among the miserly people warned by the Lord God in this verse or not: "Those who are stingy, and exhort people to stinginess, and conceal what God has given them from His bounty. We have prepared for the disbelievers a disgraceful torment." (4:37)? Any ideas? … Thank you …
Answer:
No; the Quranic verse 4:37 is about stingy misers who never donate money for charity for the Lord God's sake and urge others to follow their example in stinginess.

You Should Remain Loyal to Her
Published in June 30, 2019
Question: … Dear Sir, … I'm a 45-year-old man and my Egyptian-American rich wife is 60 years old; I married her years ago in order to be able get the American nationality; she loves me so much and she told me she is ready to leave all her money to me in her written will after her death (she is in excellent health, by the way) if I never marry another woman during her lifetime. She knows that I'm sex-starved and I desire to marry any younger woman; having sex with my wife, who is 15 years my senior, is not satisfactory. I promised her never to cheat on her and never to marry a second wife; yet, I still crave sex with any younger woman! The sheikh in the local mosque told me I have the right to get married in secret without telling my wife; is this OK? Besides, the American laws punish men who marry two (or more) women at the same time! ............ Any advice?! … Thank you …
Answer:
You should remain loyal to her; do not break your promise; she is loyal and faithful to you and she loves you; if you desire to be frank, tell her you will seek divorce; tell her frankly about your sexual needs; yet, do not cheat on her or marry a second wife in secret. Deceiving her will make you pay a heavy price sooner or later.

Of course, you have the right to get divorced or to resort to self-repudiation. Do not feel embarrassed; it is your basic right to enjoy marital sex and to bear children.

Iranian-American Man
Published in July 3, 2019
Question: … Dear Sir, … I'm an American man of an Iranian origin; I must be loyal to the USA where I live since the day I received the American nationality; yet, what about the case if the USA would launch a war against my beloved former homeland Iran?! … Thank you …
Answer:
You must keep your vow of being loyal to your new homeland; your swore to be loyal to the USA when you obtained its nationality and became an American citizen. Of course, you do not have to fight against Iran if the Americans launch an unjust, aggressive war against it (led by Donald Trump); besides, Iran will never launch a war against the USA; many Americans will oppose such a war (if it ever breaks out one day) as per free speech and freedom of expression enjoyed in the USA; you can do the same like opposition figures without betraying the USA.

About the Quranic Verse 9:114
Published in July 4, 2019
Question: … Dear Sir, … What is meant by the underlined word describing Abraham in this verse: "Abraham asked forgiveness for his father only because of a promise he had made to him. But when it became clear to him that he was an enemy of God, he disowned him. Abraham was penitent and clement." (9:114)? … Thank you …
Answer:
This is repeated in this Quranic verse: "Abraham was gentle, kind, penitent." (11:75). This means that Abraham, the pious prophet, repeatedly repented and asked the Lord God's pardon and forgiveness all the time and worshiped Him in reverence and within piety.

Of Good Origin?
Published in July 5, 2019
Question: … Dear Sir, … Is it OK in Islam (i.e., Quranism) to say that this or that man is of good or noble origin/ancestry? Any ideas? … Thank you …
Answer:
No; this has nothing to do with Islam; all human beings descended from Adam and his wife: this is their origin. There is nothing called good or bad origin; there is no castes or class distinction in Islam. our lifetimes on earth is a test; one's deeds and faith will decide one's fate in the Hereafter forever either in Hell or in Paradise.

Divorced or Not?!
Published in July 8, 2019
Question: … Dear Sir, … My dad and mom quarreled a lot; he verbally divorced her at one time in a fit of anger; yet, she remained in our house in a separate chamber; my dad died suddenly; the verbal divorce was never documented in paper and no one knows about the verbal divorce; does my mom have the right to inherit a share of my dad's money or not? Any ideas? … Thank you …
Answer:
There is nothing in Islam known as 'verbal' divorce; formal divorce in Islam has to be written in a document/contract signed by witnesses. This means there is no divorce papers for your mother. She is your father's widow and not his divorcée; she has the right to inherit 1/8 of his money as per the Quranic inheritance laws.

God's Omniscience
Published in July 8, 2019
Question: … Dear Sir, … Why do we find in the Quranic text that the past tense is employed to talk about the Last Day and the Hereafter and other future events? … Thank you …
Answer:
This is because of the fact that the Omniscient Lord God is above Time; He is the Creator of Time. The human notion of time on earth includes its movement all the time: the present becomes past sooner than we think and so is the future; every passing second cannot be retrieved and death is inevitable; the Hour is inevitable. This is in contrast to eternity of the Hereafter in endless Hell and in endless Paradise.

Prayers and Coma
Published in July 9, 2019
Question: … Dear Sir, … I started to pray when I reached the age of 40 years ago; I perform every daily prayers twice to make up for missed ones within my past life. After a car accident, I was in a coma for four days; I spent days motionless and hospitalized after the coma. In these days of convalescence at home, I feel very weak; what about the prayers I've missed?! Any ideas? … Thank you …
Answer:
You can pray while sitting, lying down, etc. with the least amount of effort and/or inconvenience; this is part of facilitation/ease in Islamic legislation in the Quran; what matters is to adhere to piety all the time and during prayers. You have to perform the missed prayers (because of the coma) on time every day.

You Are Still his Wife
Published in July 11, 2019
Question: … Dear Sir, … My husband verbally divorced me more than three times during our verbal quarrels; he said he was out of his mind and that he is still my legal husband since no divorce papers are signed; is this true or not? … Thank you …
Answer:
You are still his legal wife; there is nothing in Islam known as verbal divorce; this has to do with the patriarchal Sunnite religion of Satan. Divorce in Islam must be written down in contracts signed by (at least two) witnesses; see our article, in English, about divorce, found on this link:

The Dawn Prayers
Published in July 12, 2019

What about prayers I missed in earlier days of my life?! They are so many and I lost count of them! Any ideas? … Thank you …

The Quranic Tongue
Published in July 15, 2019
Question: … Dear Sir, … What is the difference between the Quranic tongue and the Arabic tongue of Muhammad and his contemporaries? … Thank you …
Answer:
The Quranic text descended (i.e., was revealed) in the tongue of Muhammad and his people: "We made it easy in your tongue, so that they may remember." (44:58); "We made it easy in your tongue, in order to deliver good news to the righteous, and to warn with it a hostile people." (19:97); "We made the Quran easy to understand. Is there anyone who would understand?" (54:32).
