The International Quranic Center (IQC) condemns the atrocity at Fort Hood, Texas yesterday November 5, 2009.

The International Quranic Center (IQC) condemns the involvement of at least one Muslim, whose identity has been disclosed as Maj. Malik Nadal Hasan, in the horrific atrocity at Fort Hood, Texas yesterday November 5, 2009.

Such terrorist action by Muslims deeply hurts all sincere Muslims, especially the Quranist Muslim scholars who devote their lives to clear the religion of Islam and to combat the terrorist culture and to reform the Muslim World and Muslim communities from within Islam. These horrific actions at Fort Hood, Texas and in Iraq prove the necessity of using the war of ideas to educate Muslim Americans to defend America in the name of Islam. They must be educated that the United States has the same values of Islam, and The United States armed forces in defending these values, is serving the real Islam against those radicals, who are tarnishing the religion of Islam and misusing its name.

IQC further calls for prayer and repentance in memory of the victims of the Fort Hood assault and for full cooperation of all Muslims in apprehending other perpetrators of terrorism.
