•The Quran Study Center is dedicated to the in-depth study of the Quran by looking at the Quran . An attempt to understand Quranic verses from resources within the Quran itself.

•The Study of  the Quran Alone liberates us from the crushing weight of tradition and controversy.

•The study of the Quran will enable us to cleanse ourselves of falsehoods and distortions that have entered in our belief system.

•Going back to the Quran will free us from the dead hand of the past.

•Moreover, we will be going back to the word of God, who is the final arbiter in all matters.

Who we are:

Dear reader, the Quran is addressed to all mankind, not exclusive to any race or region. It invites believers of all faiths to come together on that which is common among them, the belief in one God. 3:64

Say: “ O people of the Book! Come to common terms as between us and you: That we worship none but God: that we associate no partners with Him; that we erect not, from among ourselves, lords and patrons other than God… .”

The presence of various sects in Islam and in all religions, is powerful evidence that blindly adhering to parent’s belief system is no guarantee of finding the truth from God. That would mean shirking the personal responsibility to search and find the true belief system.

To reach the original and true understanding of the will of God, it is necessary to approach the scriptures with an open mind.

We do not claim to know it all. Together, we hope to explore the Quran and help each other understand its true meaning, and its application in this day and age.

Our beginning and final prayer is for Him to guide us to what is right in His sight.

Our Goals:

The Quran Study Center (QSC)  is committed  to spreading a vision of Islam that is true to the letter and spirit of the Quran and that the values of democracy and human rights are not in contradiction with the Quran, but are in fact embedded in it.

Our goals are:

1) To advocate peaceful reform in the Muslim world based on democracy and human rights .2) To invite scholars of the Quran to share research  demonstrating the consistency of Islam with democracy; 3) To initiate a real inter-religious dialogue among Muslims, Christians, Jews, and members of all religions who believe in creating societies based upon tolerance and justice.

4) To share with Muslims, Christians, Jews, and all others interpretation of Islam that is consistent with the Quranic text. 2:2,3,4,5

“This is the Scripture in which there is no doubt, a guide for the righteous. Those who believe in the unseen, and uphold the contact-prayer, and from our provisions to them they spend. And those who believe in what was sent down to you, and what was sent down before you, and regarding the Hereafter they are certain. These are the ones guided by their Lord, and these are the winners.”

Everyone is welcome to study, discuss and share ideas in peaceful environment.

    The Center for the Quranic People

The Quran Study Center (QSC) Society aims to unite all the "Quranic people” and provide them a forum to interact with others in Islam and with followers of the other religions of the world. The term “Quranic People” provides a conceptual umbrella for Muslims who subscribe to the following beliefs:

    1.  The Quran is the sole source of Islam and its’ laws.

   2.  The Quran is comprehensive, completely sufficient in itself.

   3.  The Quran was revealed to Mohamed (PBUH) to purify monotheism from all deviations and distortions.

  4.  Islam is the religion of peace, mercy, justice, freedom of conscience, and freedom of religion.

As scholars, researchers, and advocates, the Quranic People aim to assist the peaceful reform of Muslim countries and societies by going back to the authentic source of Islam—the Quran.  The Quranic People believe that reform will flow from an understanding of the Quran, according to the text, not from the pronouncement and commentaries of Muslim scholars.     

By such careful reading, one can judge the past and present actions of Muslims in relation to the word of God alone.  The Quranic people aren’t a political party or a religious sect, but rather a group of educated open-minded individuals who share the simple but profound and powerful beliefs outlined above. 

Board of Directors:

The board of directors comprised of individuals from different countries, Algeria, Iran, India, Egypt and Morocco . The directors are students of the Quran, they spend years of studying the scripture and ponder on its verses as well interpret the Quran by the Quran in the original language of the Quran revealed to our beloved Messenger Mohamed (PBUH).   

** Every one interested is welcome to join the study of the scripture in Arabic, English, French, Urdu, and Farsi. Regardless of faith, color, nationality, or gender.

The Center will communicate its views, its position and its stand on matters of importance to the media and to the leadership, in the light of our understanding of Islam from the Quran Alone, free from and unconstrained by the traditional interpretation and opinions of Muslim scholars , jurists etc.

The QSC will speak out against those who promote hatred, prejudice and intolerance by misunderstanding and misrepresenting the fundamental tenets of Islam.

The Center welcomes enlightened members of all religions to the Endeavour to project the real Islam to the whole world– an Islam that shares its most basic values with all of the world’s great religions. And that Islam, in its essence, is a belief system that is in harmony with and in committed to the liberal and humanistic values of the modern world.
