A soldier died and an officer was injured in an attack on a police car on the ring road in Ismailia.
The soldier was Hamada Saber and the police officer was Ahmed al-Eraqy. The police car stopped a suspicious vehicle, after which its occupants opened fire on the policemen and escaped.
Eraqy was transferred to the hospital and the police are tracking the perpetrators.
