A Question of Inheritance

Published in December 31, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, … My wife died; she has a son from her former husband; she and I had no offspring at all. Before her death, she asked me to invest her money in a project; I hesitated but she told me she trusted me and this is not embarrassing at all since her money is like mine; in fact, I invested such money in a gas station with my business partner. When she died, I ended this project and retrieved the sum of money along with the resulting profits. The question now is as follows: Should her son have an inheritance share or not within such a sum? Is this sum her money or mine alone?  … Thank you …

Answer:

If she ceded this money to you (during her lifetime) and told you it is her gift to you, this means this is your money and not hers; her son shall receive nothing in that case. If she gave you her money to invest it on behalf of herself, then the sum of money (as well as the profits) is hers; you as a widower should inherit the quarter of the sum, and her son should inherit the rest of it.

Firm Notions?

Published in December 31, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, …  Sunnites assume that their inherited, 'stable', 'firm' notions of their faith include the sanctification of hadiths in books of Al-Bokhary and his likes besides venerating the so-called 'holy' mausoleums of 'saints' and prophets in several cities: Cairo, Yathreb, Karbala,...etc. ......... Yet, what can be deemed as (firm notions) or core ones within the Holy Quran itself? Any ideas?  … Thank you …

Answer:

There are no firm notions and less-firm ones in the Quran; within Quranism (i.e., the Only True Islam), you have to believe in the entirety of the Quranic text; there is no verse more important than any other verses. The adjective (firm) is mentioned in the Quran twice: "Do you not see how God presents a parable? A good word is like a good tree - its root is firm, and its branches are in the sky." (14:24); of course, the good word is the Quran itself; "God gives firmness to those who believe, with the firm word, in this life, and in the Hereafter. And God leads the unjust ones astray. God does whatever He wills." (14:27); the firm word is, for sure, Islam (i.e., monotheism or submission to Allah). Of course, the authors of the terrestrial religions of Satan assume that their main tenets/notions as 'firm'; in fact, they are not so; they never stand being criticized or put to question; this is why terrestrial religions of the Muhammadans require all the time the protection of a temporal authority of enthroned tyrants and dominant, totalitarian political regimes which impose certain ideologies on people and threaten to persecute/imprison or even kill critics of the dominant religion. If we, Dr. A. S. Mansour, would one day have the chance in the Egyptian and/or Arab media to discuss the so-called 'firm' notions of the terrestrial Sunnite/Sufi/Shiite religions of the Muhammadans, such notions will collapse because they are mere myths which can be easily debunked. They are refuted on our writings on our website and also within our YouTube-channel videos.

About Seeing God, Again

The Most 'Hated' Permissible Item!

Published in January 2, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … In Sunnite traditions/hadiths, there is that motto or adage that divorce is the most 'hated' permissible item in the divine sharia of God; i.e., Sunnites assume that Allah hates/dislikes divorce very much ...... Is this true or not?  … Thank you …

Answer:

No. It is a flagrant lie and an insult attributed to the Lord God and to His Religion. The Lord God does not hate/dislike any of His Quranic sharia laws. The Sunnite religion of Satan has nothing to do with Islam; see our article about divorce, in English, found on this link:

Better Qualities of the Dead!

Published in January 2, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … In Egypt, and the Arab world at large, people say that it's better not to talk about misdeeds and bad qualities of the dead persons and it's better to mention only their good qualities. Is this true or not as far as Quranism is concerned? Any ideas?  … Thank you …

Answer:

This is an outright flagrant lie which has nothing to do with Islam; this notion pertains to the myths of terrestrial religions of Satan. To remember or talk about bad/good qualities of the dead persons will never influence their fate in the Hereafter. The Omniscient Lord God prevents us from recommending others (dead or alive) to Him; He knows best who are the pious monotheists: "Those who avoid gross sins and indecencies - except for minor lapses - your Lord is of Vast Forgiveness. He knows you well, ever since He created you from the earth, and ever since you were embryos in your mothers’ wombs. So do not acclaim your own virtue; He is fully aware of the righteous ones." (53:32).

A Question of Inheritance

Published in January 3, 2020

Question:  … Dear Sir, … I am an Algerian man; my maternal grandmother died recently; she had one daughter (i.e., my mother), who has sons and daughters, and one son (i.e., my later uncle) who died years ago but he has been survived by his own sons and daughters. How the inheritance money would be distributed in such a case?  … Thank you …

Answer:

Your mother (i.e., the daughter of the deceased person) receives half of the money and her sons and daughters (including you) receive no shares at all; the children of your late maternal uncle receive the rest of the inheritance money left by your late maternal grandmother as per the Quranic rule here: "...The male receives the equivalent of the share of two females..." (4:11).

About the Quranist University Project!

Published in January 3, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … I am from Mali; I admire your great Quranism website very much; I am now reading your entire archive (in Arabic) and I found out that years ago, you inaugurated your Quranist university project to offer online courses to qualify and train would-be Quranist researchers; I'd like to join, but how? ........... Please accept my best regards....... … Thank you in advance …

Answer:

You are more than welcome to our website. Sadly, this project failed years ago; you can consider reading on our website, within our archive and that of others, a very excellent way to get trained to be a Quranist researcher if you are willing to be convinced to reform your soul by getting to know about True Islam and how it contradicts the terrestrial/earthly religions of the Sunnites, Shiites, and Sufis. May the Lord God bless and guide you, our son.

About the Penalty for Theft and Repentance, Again!

Published in January 3, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, …  May the Lord God reward you in Paradise for serving True Islam............You have written in previous fatwas and articles of yours that when a thief declares repentance before a judge, s/he will be spared having their hand cut off; yet, what if thieves feign being repentant several times when they get caught red-handed in every single time?!  … Thank you …

Answer:

You misunderstood our writings about this topic; repentance of thieves means they will never steal again; if they repeat their crime after feigning repentance, their hands are cut off in a Quran-based country of direct democracy. Sadly, many Quran-hating people focus on rejecting the idea of cutting off the hand of thief as per Quranic sharia laws while forgetting the fact that this penalty is not applied unless when justice reigns within direct democracy and Zakat is paid to the needy/poor. This direct democracy will prevent tyranny and corruption; it prevents the emergence of the affluent class whose members (i.e., big thieves) monopolize wealth and power. Within the eras of caliphs, sultans, and governors – and until now in the Arab countries – all rulers are the biggest thieves and they commit other crimes such as murder; no one dared to cut off their hands or to put them to death in retribution; instead, historically, they cut off hands of thieves who committed petty thefts and they put people to death unjustly; such rulers deserved the penalties for murder and theft. This penalty should not be applied until Islamic/Quranic sharia laws are applied – these Quranic legislations are based on higher Quranic values: peace, justice, freedom, mercy, charity, human dignity, human rights,...etc. Hence, after giving all citizenship rights to people, thieves are pardoned when they steal for the first time only, and they are spared having their hands cut off when they declare their repentance; if they steal again, the penalty is exacted as they cannot have any excuses. This applies to rulers before any individuals.

Prolonged Extra Night Prayers (1)

Published in January 5, 2020

Question: …  Dear Sir, … Is it OK when I read from a copy of the Quran during my prolonged extra night prayers? Or should I read Quranic verses only from my own memory? I do not memorize except some of the short Quranic Chapters found towards the end of the Quranic text. Any ideas?…  Thank you …

Answer:

You cannot read from a copy of the Quran during any prayers; it is OK to pronounce, during prayers, short Quranic verses/Chapters. Prolonged acts of worship by night should include, besides prayers, glorification of the Holy Name of the Lord God and contemplating the wonders of creation in the universe made by the Lord God the Creator.

About the Assassination of Khashoggi

Published in January 5, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir,  … I read what you've written about the crime of murdering the Saudi journalist, Khashoggi, but what is your view about Saudi court rulings about declaring the criminals innocent and sentencing to death some men who were inside the Saudi embassy in Turkey at the time? This is outright framing! Besides, the Saudi authorities and media insist that it was a case of manslaughter and not premeditated murder! The family members ofKhashoggi were forced to accept diyya money and they never have the right to demand retribution now! What is your Quranist view of this? … Thank you …

Answer:

This was a crime of murder; retribution by putting to death the murderers and the ones who bribed them is justice. Diyya money is OK (in return for pardoning the murderers and not putting them to death) provided that the family of the victim would consent and not forced to accept this. Instigators of this murder and the murderers themselves will not be tried in court within justice so as not to expose the Saudi royal family members especially the Saudi crown-prince. This crime is part of the grave sin of spreading corruption on earth; murdering innocent, peaceful people (i.e., believers in terms of peaceful demeanor) is a grave sin and murderers will enter into Hell for eternity: "Whoever kills a believer deliberately, the penalty for him is Hell, where he will remain forever. And God will be angry with him, and will curse him, and will prepare for him a terrible torment." (4:93).

Prayers of the Israelites

Published in January 5, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … When Allah in the Quran has commanded the Israelites of Arabia to believe in the Quran, does this means they would have to change the tongue of their prayers from Hebrew to Arabic or not? …  Thank you …

Answer:

Not at all; prayers and all rituals and acts of worship can be done within any mother-tongue as long as they are performed within monotheism, reverence, awe, and piety. These feelings constitute a universal tongue shared by all human beings. Besides, the Israelites of Arabia spoke the Arabic tongue fluently during the lifetime of Muhammad.

Prolonged Extra Night Prayers (2)

Published in January 6, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir,  … You told me in your answer to my previous question that I cannot hold a copy of the Quran in my hands during my prayers or even to read from it when it is placed on a wooden holder; what is the Quranic proof which might support this view of yours?! … Thank you …

Answer:

Accepted prayers are the ones offered within piety, concentration, reverence, and fear of the Lord God; they will be lacking if you use a copy of the Quran and turn the pages...etc. This is very distracting! How could you dare to do so while addressing the Lord God during prayers?! Salafists/Wahabis inside mosques are the ones who began this bad tradition since they read too many verses to feign being pious within prolonged congregational prayers especially during the fasting month of Ramadan. Reading the Quran is an independent act of worship in itself apart from prayers. This is our own view; we hold responsibility for it; we never impose it on anyone.

To (understand) in the Quran

Published in January 6, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir,  … I sometimes wonder why the verb (understand) and many of its synonyms (to discern, to see, to know,...etc.) are mentioned a lot in the Quranic text? Any ideas … Thank you …

Answer:

This is because the Holy Quran, which is the Lord God's Final Word to all humanity until the end of days when the Hour takes place, addresses the human mind and its faculty of reasoning so that people would reach guidance by using their minds and logic within deeply pondering the Quran.

The Root N/Sh/Z in the Quranic Text

Published in January 6, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, …  I desire that you would write an article about the Arabic root N/Sh/Z and its derivations and meanings in the Quranic text........... …  Thank you …

Answer:

It is employed to denote placing, arranging, or composing here: "...We will make you a wonder for mankind. And look at the bones, how We arrange (nonshezoha) them, and then clothe them with flesh.” So when it became clear to him, he said, “I know that God has power over all things.”" (2:259); "O you who believe! When you are told to make room in your gatherings, make room; God will make room for you. And when you are told to disperse, disperse (enshozo). God elevates those among you who believe, and those given knowledge, many steps. God is Aware of what you do." (58:11). It is employed here to denote discord or lack of harmony between spouses (i.e., caused by a husband to his wife or by a wife to her husband): "...As for those from whom you fear discord (noshozahona)..." (4:34); "If a woman fears discord (noshozan) or desertion from her husband,..." (4:128). No Escape

Published in January 7, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir,  … What is meant by the idea of inescapability mentioned in some Quranic verses? … Thank you …

Answer:

It refers to the fact that when the Lord God has ordained the destruction of disbelievers (within several Quranic stories), they could not escape from this inevitable fate of punishment/torment: "How many generations before them, who were more powerful than they, did We destroy? They explored the lands - was there any escape?" (50:36). It also refers to inevitable Hell torment in the Hereafter for sinners and disbelievers after the Day of Judgment: "These - their place is Hell, and they will find no escape from it." (4:121); "They will emerge before God, altogether. The weak will say to those who were proud, “We were your followers, can you protect us at all against God’s torment?” They will say, “Had God guided us, we would have guided you. It is the same for us; whether we mourn, or are patient; there is no escape for us.”" (14:21); "What they used to pray to before will forsake them, and they will realize that they have no escape." (41:48); "Those who dispute against Our verses know that there is no escape for them." (42:35).

The Term (Toobah) in the Quranic Text

Published in January 7, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … What is meant by the Quranic term (Toobah) mentioned in the Quranic 13:29? Any ideas? … Thank you …

Answer:

It means happiness/felicity,beatitude, and supreme blessedness found in the Paradise pleasures and their Eternal Bliss: "For those who believe and do righteous deeds - for them is happiness and a beautiful return." (13:29). The angels will address Paradise dwellers in the following way as they enter into it: "And those who feared their Lord will be led to Paradise in throngs. Until, when they have reached it, and its gates are opened, its keepers will say to them, “Peace be upon you, happiness is ordained for you, so enter it, to abide therein eternally.” And they will say, “Praise be to God, who has fulfilled His promise to us, and made us inherit the land, enjoying Paradise as we please.” How excellent is the reward of the workers." (39:73-74).

Why the Israelites?!

Published in January 8, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … The Lord God says the following in the Holy Quran: "Because of that We ordained for the Israelites: that whoever kills a person - unless it is for murder or corruption on earth - it is as if he killed the whole of the humankind; and whoever saves it, it is as if he saved the whole of the humankind. Our messengers came to them with clarifications, but even after that, many of them continue to commit excesses on earth." (5:32). After the Quranic narration of the story of Adam's two sons, the murderer and the murdered, one finds in 5:32 the mention of the Israelites? Why is that? What is the link? Did murderers and sinners exist a lot among their descendants? Any ideas? … Thank you …

Answer:

Of course, many Quranic verses address the Israelites within warnings, reminders, and preaching; besides, the Quran settles many disputes about topics linked to their religion: "This Quran relates to the Israelites most of what they differ about." (27:76). Let us remember that the Israelites received many prophets/messengers and divine/celestial messages from the Lord God; some sinful Jews murdered prophets/messengers and preachers of justice and Truth. The grave crime of the murderous son of Adam, who killed his brother who never defended himself after reminding his murderous brother of God and of Hell, is his justifying the grave sin of murder: "Then His soul prompted him to kill his brother, so he killed him, and became one of the losers." (5:30); this heinous crime is spreading corruption on earth as per the Quran; this is akin to murdering the humankind. Of course, the Quranic warnings addressing the Israelites are also addressed to the Gentiles and all those who believe in the Quran or claim to believe in it. Sadly, the Muhammadans of the Middle-Ages never heeded such warnings; their imams, authors, scholars, and clergymen have contradicted the Quran and imposed in their devilish fiqh laws and devilish hadiths the putting to death of non-murderers: married fornicators, rejecters of faith (or heretics/infidels), those who do not pray,...etc. Before all that, the sinful four pre-Umayyad caliphs (the criminals Abou Bakr, Omar, Othman, and Ali) and the other caliphs after them murdered thousands of innocent people during the Arab conquests and civil wars; their crime of bloodshed was 'justified' by being labeled as religious duty in their religions of Satan within the so-called hadiths; such devilish narratives spread corruption on earth and urge people to commit massacres as if this were a religious duty! For instance, during the Sufi Mameluke Era in Egypt, the Sunnite Hanbali sheikh Ibn Taymiyya wrote extremist fatwas to put to death (without holding 'heretics' on trial or giving them a chance to 'repent'!) all Sufis and Shiites or the non-Sunnites in general and indeed all non-Hanbali Sunnite scholars and laymen who dared to disagree with his devilish views! The same devilish ideas of Ibn Taymiyya, which have nothing to do with Islam, are revived by thinkers of the Wahabi terrorist MB organization theorists such as Sayed Sabek in Egypt and Abou Bakr Al-Jazaeiry in Algeria. More details about this are found in our book (in which we refute such ideas of sick-minded zealots) titled "The Penalty of Apostasy" published (in Arabic) in 1993 in Cairo, Egypt, found in English on this link: (http://www.ahl-alquran.com/arabic/book_main.php?main_id=91). This means that the Quranic verse 5:32 is for preaching and warning people such as this one: "Whoever kills a believer deliberately, the penalty for him is Hell, where he will remain forever. And God will be angry with him, and will curse him, and will prepare for him a terrible torment." (4:93). This means that the committers of massacres will have a more terrible Hell-torment than the one mentioned in 4:93. All Quranic verses address all humanity: Israelites and Gentiles, Arabs and non-Arabs, and Muhammadans and non-Muhammadans. We have to bear in mind that the Quranic Chapter Five was revealed shortly before the death of Muhammad. Once Abou Bakr ruled as caliph, he spread corruption on earth by massacring people within the Arab conquests to occupy their homeland (to form an Arab empire) and steal their money and assets; other sinful and corrupt caliphs followed his footsteps in many decades; an Arab empire from the Pyrenees in Europe to the borders of China was formed because of such grave sins and heinous crimes ascribed by force to the name of Islam. Many Arab and non-Arab sultans, kings, and presidents (until now in modern times) have committed bloodshed; none of them took heed of the Quran in which they claim to believe; in fact, their heinous crimes show that they have rejected the Quran and disbelieved in the Hereafter.

About the Quranic Verse 13:2

Published in January 8, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … The Lord God says the following in the Holy Quran: "God is He who raised the heavens without pillars that you can see..." (13:2); why the plural form (heavens) is employed here instead of (heaven/sky)? Any ideas … Thank you …

Answer:

Let's us quote the entire Quranic verse here: "God is He who raised the heavens without pillars that you can see, and then settled on the Throne. And He regulated the sun and the moon, each running for a specified period. He manages all affairs, and He explains the signs, that you may be certain of the meeting with your Lord." (13:2). The metaphoric (Throne) is the entire (meta)physical universe and the Lord God's Dominance over it; i.e., over all (un)moving (in)animate creatures on earth and in the heavens within both the physical and metaphysical realms; no human beings can stop the movements of celestial bodies or make the sky and/or the (meta)physical levels of heavens fall on our heads; this is the creation of the Omnipotent, Omniscient, and Omnipresent Lord God the Creator; may His Holy Name be glorified forever. For more details about the Barsakh realms, we refer you to our book, in English, titled "The Book of Barsakh", found on this link:
