Lindsey Graham was first elected to the U.S. Senate in 2002. A senior member of the Senate Armed Services Committee and a colonel in the U.S. Air Force Reserves, he travels frequently to the war zones in Afghanistan and Iraq.


Moderator
Jessica Mathews was appointed president of the Carnegie Endowment in 1997. Her career includes senior positions in the White House, State Department, Congress, Council on Foreign Relations, World Resources Institute, and the Washington Post.
