Join the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace for a special screening of the BBC’s documentary series, Inside Obama’s White House. The documentary profiles Barack Obama’s foreign policy legacy and follows his senior staff as they navigate a world in upheaval. This event will begin with a reception at 5:30 p.m. The screening will begin promptly at 6:00 p.m., and be followed by a panel discussion with Evan Osnos, Norma Percy, and Jake Sullivan. The National Geographic Channel will broadcast an abridged version of the full series on Monday, February 20 from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. EST. |

Speakers |
Evan Osnos joined the New Yorker as a staff writer in 2008, and covers politics and foreign affairs. Norma Percy is an award-winning documentarian and the series producer of Inside Obama’s White House. Jake Sullivan is a Martin R. Flug visiting lecturer in law at Yale Law School. He served in the Obama administration as national security adviser to vice president Joe Biden and director of policy planning at the U.S. Department of State, as well as deputy chief of staff to secretary of state Hillary Clinton. |
