When Will Tarnishing the Image of Islam Come to An End?

 Praised be the Lord! What a Dreadful Blasphemy!

Firstly:

 Islam has received several stabs from the mortal gods of the earthly human-made creeds of the Muhammadans, especially those deities of the the Sunnite/Wahabi creed that cause heinous crimes like bloodshed, robbing, stealing, enslavement, rape, and murder. Let us remember killing of people in the holy shrine in Mecca; the place that God has made it to be a safe haven for all people. This creed of Sunnite Wahabism coerces all people to submit to it as if it were the ''only true'' form of Islam. God states the freedom of one's religious beliefs in the real Islam; i.e., the Quran. The deities of Sunnite Wahabism do not confine their evil deeds and crimes to themselves; they attribute them to God and to Islam, and they force their Sunnite sharia and impose it on others in the guise of Islam. Islam has received other stabs from Islamophobes who celebrate the Wahabi crimes to defame Islam and call the unjust criminals in the name: Islamists!

 For the last 40 years, we have asserted in a scientific, logical, and methodological ways the fact that Islam has nothing whatsoever to do with actions done by those who claim to belong to it, whether they do evil or good deeds. We have written here in our website several times that even prophet Muhammad did not represent or embody Islam. He was a human being who erred and made faults and good deeds; divine revelation in the Quran used to rectify, discipline, reproach, guide, and correct him; he will be judged like all human beings in Doomsday. The only representative of Islam is the Quran: it is the book of orders, guidance, moral pieces of advice that are repeated in various ways; e.g., let us be reminded by the Ten Commandments in the Quran in (6:151-153) and their other details in (17:22-39) and in (25:63-76). God in the Quran orders human beings to apply justice and mercy and to avoid immorality, and injustice, and oppression in (16:90). We have written a lot in such issues and used the Quran as the sole measure stick to judge the acts of Sunnite/Wahabi criminals who attribute their evil deeds to Islam. God never made angels to descend upon the earth to force people to obey His Quranic commands; He gave us, human beings, full liberty in matters of faith so as to judge us in Doomsday in the Afterlife. The catastrophe lies in the fact that the most evil people create fabricated creeds that reflect their blood-thirsty and power-hungry ambitions and attribute their falsehoods to Islamic sharia. Some Islamophobes rejoice in making Islam responsible for the crimes of those criminals. Despite the countless times we say on the subject that real Islam (the Quran alone) is not responsible for the evil deeds of the Wahabi criminals, this falls on the islamophobes' deaf ears. Attributing injustices and crimes to Islam become a popular trade with huge benefits and profits; the KSA is a state established based on that type of trade. The same applies to other regimes, organizations, pacts, alliances, companies, groups…etc. the same profitable trade applies to Islamophobes who attack Islam and attribute to it the crimes of Wahabi terrorists. We, the Quranists, the sole people who defend Islam and the victims of Wahabism and assert that Islam is a faith and a creed that calls for mercy, peace, liberty, justice, and goodness. Yet, we receive nothing but total negligence and disregard as if we were nonexistent.

Secondly:

In the early 1990s, armed Wahabi terrorists used to wreak havoc in Egypt. They used to attack, burn, and destroy Egyptian churches and kill people inside them. We, Ahmed Subhy Mansour, have participated in the establishment of a popular movement to face terrorism among a group of cultured and free thinkers. This group used to visit churches and hospitals to sympathize with the victims. Meanwhile, servants of authority in all media, Al-Azhar, and the Ministry of Religious Endowments and Affairs, remained silent, and some of them tried to pave their way into the so-called coming 'caliphate' or the coming theocratic state that found only in their imagination. The Egyptian newspapers at that time published the fatwas of the Salafi terrorist "Aboud Al-Zomor" that when a Sunnite Muslim kills a Christian he must not be punished at all (!) he wanted to encourage Sunnite fanatics to kill Egyptian Orthodox Christians. The late journalist ''Philip Gallab" contacted us to ask for more information about this strange fatwa. We told him that this Sunnite fiqh has nothing whatsoever to do with the Quran. He asked us to write a refutation to this strange fanatic fatwa. This is what we wrote about 25 years ago:

Defamation of Islam: Al-Ahaly newspaper has written about a strange fatwa spread by a terrorist within a terrorist group called Al-Jihad to urge the impunity in cases of a Muslim killing a Copt. This is a calumny that defames real Islam, the Quran alone, as the Quran states clearly and lucidly that every killer shall be punished by death with no exception whatsoever concerning the faith of the victim or even lack of it. God says in the Quran: "And do not kill the soul which God has made sacred, except in the course of justice. If someone is killed unjustly, We have given his next of kin certain authority. But he should not be excessive in killing, for he will be supported"(17:33). The so-called fatwa uttered by the criminal contradicts the Quran; a soul of any non-Muslim victim does not count lesser in value in comparison to the soul of a Muslim victim. Today's Muslims have to mention the name of God even before they slay a chicken to be cooked and eaten. How come a Muslim would give himself the right to kill any peaceful non-Muslim and would have the nerve to demand impunity?! A Muslim is ordered in the Quran to respect all treaties even in times of war, let alone in times of peace: "And if anyone of the polytheists asks you for protection, give him protection so that he may hear the Word of God; then escort him to his place of safety. That is because they are a people who do not know."(9:6)If this is the stance of Islam toward warriors who took arms against believers, what about peaceful Egyptian Christians who never do any harm to their Muslim fellow citizens?Islam should not be interwoven with any political ends or goals. Islam is the most abused religion n earth by some of those who claim to be Muslims.

 This was published in 1990 in (leftist) Al-Ahaly newspaper in Egypt; it was the first time for us to write in this newspaper. Later on, other articles of ours appeared regularly in the same paper for many years to come. We still defend Egyptian Christians until the present moment against Wahabi terrorism. We used to forget during this time the persecution suffered by ourselves, our family and all Quranists in Egypt at the time. Yet, some Egyptian Christians from our ''friends'' who know a lot about the Quranist school of thought used to insist on calling the Wahabi criminals ''Islamists'' and continue their attack on Islam and thus help Wahabis against us!

Secondly: Al-Alam Al-Youm newspaper published my article on 5-7-1992 titled: "Defamation of Islam: On What Is Told by the 'Jamaat Islamiya' Islamist Groups":-

  The Arabic Department of the BBC recently interviewed the so-called representative of Islamist groups in Egypt at 8:00 AM on Tuesday 30-6 and then this interview was published in Al-Alam Al-Youm newspaper on Thursday. The interviewee asserted that the Algerian president was assassinated because he was an enemy of Islam. This is a message to whoever stands against Islamists in any country. The interviewee defended the crime of killing the Egyptian thinker Dr. Farag Fouda and mentioned that he was killed because he undermines the Islamist leaders. The meeting of scholars sanctioned his assassination under the auspices of a certain scholar named Dr. Abdul-Ghaffar Aziz! The style of talking of this interviewee asserted that he has appointed himself as spokesperson of Islam (!) and that any contradictions to Islamists means that opponents of Islam should be killed. Dr. Farag Fouda asserted many times in his articles, books, and conferences that he is a Muslim and respects Islam. What incited the ire of the killers who killed him was that he dared to hold talks with Islamists and to criticize their notions. They considered this intellectual attack on them as an attack on Islam itself (!); a form of apostasy punishable by death. This criminal stance represents a grave danger in the Egyptian society in the present and the future. This is a great harm to Islam itself. The Islamists' notions contradict the Quran and its values of tolerance, peace, civilizational and humane elevation. Islam has suffered a lot throughout history of such calls for bloodshed under its banner. For instance, Al-Khawarij used to kill all Muslims after describing them as apostates. They killed thousands of Muslims before Al-Khawarij themselves were subdivided by conflicts and killed one another to their total disappearance. The so-called Islamists imitate historical terrorist groups and allow themselves the right to kill. All people in the society should pay attention seriously to such a grave danger. These Islamists groups imagine themselves to be the only ''true'' Muslims who take care of Islam and their only real goal is authority and power to reach the throne in any country. When faced with opposition, they assassinate and kill all who face them. They condemn us to Hell if we oppose them as if they own our future in the Afterlife! If they were really pious, they should remember the following Quranic verse: "That Home of the Hereafter-We assign it for those who seek no superiority on earth, nor corruption. And the outcome is for the cautious. "(28:83)  there is no more corruption than lkilling people for the sake of worldly gains of reaching the top of any regime in a given country. The catastrophe lies in attributing this grave injustice to Islam; they consider the opposing people to Islamism as the enemies of God who deserve to get killed. If Islamists want to rule us, we have the right to get to know their real true nature: are they real Muslims? Of course not; they have shown their true colors so early in the color of blood and sounds of gunshots. Islamists ought to know real Islam first; they know nothing about it as their creed is Wahabism and not Islam. They know nothing about how Prophet Muhammad ruled Yathreb. The demeanor and notions of the so-called Islamists clearly contradict Islam that they want to rule us under its banner. Hypocrites in Yathreb used to use their cunning ways to trap Prophet Muhammad the ruler of Yathreb; the Quran used to warn him and tell us that hypocrites are in the bottom of Hell after the Day of Judgment, yet the Quran told Muhammad to leave them alone unharmed and to preach to them by reciting the Quran: ""They are those whom God knows what is in their hearts. So ignore them, and admonish them, and say to them concerning themselves penetrating words. (4:63)Hence, he was not to kill or persecute them; only preach to them and leaving them alone in peace. Islamists killed Dr. Farag Fouda because he considered their leaders as human beings and he mocked them. Islamists considered this a crime in their human-made creed: mocking their leaders and emirs is a crime punishable by death! As if their leaders are above prophets of God: even prophet Muhammad used to be harmed and insulted by hypocrites yet he tolerated and forgave them and asked God to pardon them. The Quran defended the prophet thus: "Andamong them are those who insult the Prophet, and say, "He is all ears." Say, "He listens for your own good. He believes in God, and trusts the believers, and is mercy for those of you who believe." Those who insult the Messenger of God will have a painful penalty. "(9:61) thus, they described the Prophet as an ''ear'' who listens to whoever talks, and he as a ruler of Yathreb was patients with them and with these insults. The Quran ordered him to leave his opponents alone in peace and never to listen to them nor obey them: "And do not obey the blasphemers and the hypocrites, and ignore their insults, and rely on God. God is a sufficient protector." (33:48). Those who really love God, His prophet, and Islam should act in accordance to the demeanor of the prophet as read in the Quran: tolerance, forgiveness, asking pardon…etc. this was his way of life; not killing people who held different opinions. The so-called Islamists are mere terrorists who face all thinkers with guns and blades. This is a proof of their intellectual bankruptcy. The worst kind of calumny is the fact that they attribute their crimes to Islam. What a shameful lie! Prophet Muhammad used to advise people to do good deeds and some used to disobey him. The Quran told him to declare himself innocent of their bad deeds: "And lower your wing to those of the believers who follow you. And if they disobey you, say, "I am innocent of what you do." "(26:215-216) in contrast to this, those terrorists who want to rule us use arms and weapons to subdue the Egyptian society! This is their false creed that opposes real Islam as found in the Quran. After centuries of backwardness, Muslims should get to know facts of Islam that are to be found in the Quran alone. Terrorists want to rule us under the motto of 'Islam' without knowing a shred about Islam. Islam needs those who explain its facts and reject heritage tomes and volumes of long-dead scholars of fiqh and hadiths. Islam does not need those traders who abuse its name and link it in the modern culture with terrorism, backwardness, and fanaticism.

Thirdly:

 A Facebook friend told us on 28-9-2015 that the Egyptian secular thinker Dr. Sayed Al-Quimni claims that the Quran calls for inequality because when a Muslim kills a non-Muslim he is not punished. This friend wanted us to refute that claim to clear the name of the Quran from such a dreadful slander. We told this friend that this notion is not found in the Quran at all; Dr. Sayed Al-Quimni speaks about heritage tomes and volumes of fiqh and hadiths and not the Quran. He knows quite well that these myths are not Islam. As for the Quran, we find in it the following: "O you who believe! Retaliation for the murdered is ordained upon you: the free for the free, the slave for the slave, the female for the female. But if he is forgiven by his kin, then grant any reasonable demand, and pay with good will. This is a concession from your Lord, and a mercy. But whoever commits aggression after that, a painful torment awaits him. "(2:178) and "And We wrote for them in it: a life for a life, an eye for an eye, a nose for a nose, an ear for an ear, a tooth for a tooth, and an equal wound for a wound; but whoever forgoes it in charity, it will serve as atonement for him. Those who do not rule according to what God revealed are the evildoers."(5:45). Here, we find total equality in matters of punishment for killing. God forbids killing and bloodshed in the Quran for all people in all creeds: "…and that you do not kill the soul which God has sanctified-except in the course of justice. All this He has enjoined upon you, so that you may understand "(6:151) and "And do not kill the soul which God has made sacred, except in the course of justice. If someone is killed unjustly, We have given his next of kin certain authority. But he should not be excessive in killing, for he will be supported"(17:33). Lastly:

  Our friend Dr. Sayed Al-Quimni knows quite well the methodology of Quranists; yet, he attacks our faith. I answer to this only by invoking God to guide him and ourselves before we meet our death and Doomsday. God warns people against despising and neglecting the Quranic verses: "Thosewho despise Our revelations are not hidden from Us. Is he who is hurled into the Fire better? Or he who arrives safely on the Day of Resurrection? Do as you please; He is Seeing of everything you do. Those who reject the Reminder when it has come to them - it is an invincible Book. Falsehood cannot approach it, from before it or behind it. It is a revelation from One Wise and Praiseworthy. "(41:40-42). God says nothing but the Truth.
