The Muslim Salat of today is mostly the same.The Muslim traditionalists have changed three things:
1-( Al Taheyyat ) which is fabricated hadeeth.It is not in real Islamic Salat. The real Islamic Salat has ( Tashahhod) instead of this ( Taheyyat) . However, you can find ( Al Tashahhod ) in Sura 3 verse 18.
2 - In ( Kasr Al Salah) or (shortening prayers), they make it in any kind of long travel, while it is in the Quran only in Jihad of war and dangerous immigration.
3- They make it ( haram - illegal) for woman to pray during her period, while the verse of menstruation prohibits only the sexual intercourse during this period, not salat.( 2/ 222) Woman must pray during her period and make ablution ( Wodou'a) for every salat.
