Narrating Quranic Stories for Pupils

Published in July 21, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … I desire to narrate Quranic stories to the kids/pupils in class (they are 7-year-old pupils) within a Quranist vision, of course, in a simple way so that they can understand them; I'd like you to tell me how I am supposed to narrate them in a simple manner using plain words; I will never quote any narratives from Sunnite books ........ It would be awkward for me to tell the kids (and I dread their questions if I cannot provide logical answers to them & I fear that I might confuse or shock them) that one of the sons of Adam killed the other and ravens were sent to the murderer to teach him how to bury the corpse of the innocent, murdered victim ........ Any pieces of advice? … Thank you …

Answer:

You do not have to worry too much about any simplification, our dear daughter. Tell the Quranic story as it is in the same Quranic words while explaining any terms which may be too difficult for kids to understand on their own. In fact, kids of today understand the world better than we do when we were in their age decades ago; they are the generation which opened its eyes to find around them the internet, satellite channels, gadgets, games/PlayStation,...etc. Kids are smarter now than the kids of the past. Nothing is too shocking for them, we think. Hence, they will understand easily the struggle between a peaceful brother and an aggressive one in the story mentioned in both the Holy Quran and the Old Testament's Book of Genesis.

Worshipping Trivialities!

Published in July 22, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … A Moroccan stand-up comedian caused a furor by his comments regarded by some people as racist; yet, I do not think so; his jokes might have been misunderstood: ......................... What do you think? … Thank you …

Answer:

What a trivial question you have sent to our person! Would a terminally ill person's focus is to follow the latest fashion, or dernier cri, and to wear expensive clothes to impress others?! The planet of the Muhammadans is filled with the likes of this male sender of the above email message; i.e., those who worship trivialities and never focus on raising their own awareness and that of others about any topics of vital importance. For four decades (since 1977), we call for religious and political reform in Egypt and in the Arab world; we call for Quranism and we have gained momentum only through the cyberspace when we launched our website in 2006; media blackout is imposed on our person in the countries of the Muhammadans. In contrast, their media is filled with trivialities and red herrings (esp. scandals). This means that the aim of enthroned tyrants is to distract and brainwash the masses so that they never think about the introduction of human rights and the much-needed religious and political reform. The masses are thus programed to never think too much about problems like inflation, hunger, oppression, bloodshed...etc. In fact, the factor that help tyrants is the fact that the Muhammadans worship trivialities in their earthly religions: hadiths, narratives, 'miracles' of 'saints',...etc. It is a shame/disgrace that millions of the Muhammadans follow trivial news of movie stars, stars of sports, belly-dancers,...etc. while Quranist videos and writings of ours catch the interest of few hundreds only. Yet, this proves the fact that Quranism is the Only True Islam; the Holy Quran tells us that the vast majority of human beings on earth in all eras are both misguided and misguiding; this is proven in this Quranic verse addressed to Muhammad: "If you were to obey most of those on earth, they would divert you from God’s Path. They follow nothing but assumptions, and they only conjecture." (6:116).

About the Quranic Verse 74:51

Published in July 23, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … What is meant by the Quranic/Arabic term (Qaswarah) in 74:51?  … Thank you …

Answer:

It is one of the old epithets/names, in Arabic, for a lion. The metaphor in 45:49-51 is that those who feel animosity/aversion towards the Reminder (i.e., the Quran) are liken to panicked donkeys running away from a lion: "Why are they turning away from the Reminder? As though they were panicked donkeys. Fleeing from a lion/Qaswarah?" (45:49-51).

About the Root t/b/r in the Quranic Verse 25:39

Published in July 23, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … Would you explain to me the second half of 25:39? … Thank you …

Answer:

It means destruction, perdition, devastation, or annihilation of sinners by the Lord God: "To each We presented the parables; and each We devastated utterly." (25:39). The Arabic root (t/b/r) and its derivations signify destruction (and the verb to destroy); the same root is employed in two other Quranic verses: "“What these people are concerned with is perdition, and their deeds are based on falsehoods.”" (7:139); "...and utterly destroy all that falls into their power." (17:7).

Settle your Debts First

Published in July 24, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … I wonder if I should use the money I saved to perform pilgrimage to Mecca this year or to give the money to the penniless sons of my late older sister who brought me up and took care of me as though I were her son (because my mother died when I was a child). What piece of advice would you give me? Which is better? What shall I do? ......... … Thank you …

Answer:

If you have any debts of any kind, settle them first. Of course, your late sister's sons should receive Zakat/charity money from you; this is your Islamic duty; after helping them, if any money is left, you can perform pilgrimage. We hope that during your stay in Arabia, you will avoid the pagan, polytheistic 'pilgrimage' to the Yathreb-mosque mausoleum (ascribed falsely and forcibly to Muhammad many decades after his death) which is an abomination of Satan's doing. Do not follow the footsteps of the Muhammadans who pay a great deal of money in their polytheistic pilgrimage and thus earn their destination in Hell.

Dedicating One's Intentions to Allah?

Published in July 24, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, …  I am currently reading your archive of writings and watching your great YouTube videos............Should I, before performing any good deeds or acts of charity, dedicate my intention to Allah to gratify Him? What if I forget to do so inwardly (inside my heart/soul)? Any ideas?  … Thank you …

Answer:

You are mistaken because you are still negatively influenced by Sunnite/Wahabi/Salafist notions. Basically, any good deeds performed by pious monotheists are automatically dedicated to the Lord God without uttering any words (inwardly or loudly) to assert any intention(s). It is enough that your heart is filled with piety, devotion, and sincerity.

About the Quranic Term (Rahat)

Published in July 25, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, …  What is meant by theQuranic term (Rahat) which is mentioned in the Quranic story of the people of Madian and their prophet Shuaib? … Thank you …

Answer:

The Quranic/Arabic term (Rahat) means a group of people from three up to nine persons; this term is employed in the Quranic story of Madian: "They said, “O Shuaib, we do not understand much of what you say, and we see that you are weak among us. Were it not for your faction/Rahat, we would have stoned you. You are of no value to us.”  He said, “O my people, is my faction/Rahat more important to you than God? And you have turned your backs on Him? My Lord comprehends everything you do.”" (11:91-92); it is also employed in the Quranic story of Thamood: "In the city was a Rahat/gang of nine who spread corruption on earth and never perform good deeds." (27:48).

The Corpse of the Drowned Moses' Pharaoh, Again!

Published in July 26, 2020

Question:  … Dear Sir, … Some people claim that the mummy of Ramses II in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, Egypt, is the corpse of Moses' Pharaoh who is mentioned in the Holy Quran; this theory is based on 10:92 .......... Is that true? What do you think? … Thank you …

Answer:

This is never true. Moses' Pharaoh and his deep-state men drowned in the Red Sea; no one was left to mummify the corpse of Moses' Pharaoh; the Israelites lived in Egypt for a while in peace after the drowning of Pharaoh before their exodus to the Promised Land (see 7:136-137).  We infer from the context 10:90-92 that there is no such a thing as the torment of the grave (see our book in English here:  http://www.ahl-alquran.com/arabic/book_main.php?main_id=101). The corpse of Moses' Pharaoh was left to rotten by the shore of the Red Sea (it was never mummified) and it was seen by Israelites (and Egyptians) to draw a lesson from the terrible fate of the self-deified tyrant. Please read more within our fatwas before posing repeated questions. We quote in the lines below our previous fatwa about the same topic:

The Corpse of the Drowned Moses' Pharaoh

  Published in May 15, 2019

Question: … Dear Sir, …  Some people assume that the Quranic verse 10:92 is a proof that one of the mummies of the Ramses dynasty preserved in the Egyptian Museum, in Cairo, Egypt, belongs to Moses' Pharaoh; is this true or not? Any ideas? …  Thank you …

 Answer:

This is not true. The corpse of Moses' Pharaoh was not mummified and it will never be found, we think. The Lord God says the following in the Quran: "And We delivered the Israelites across the sea. Pharaoh and his troops pursued them, defiantly and aggressively. Until, when he was about to drown, he said, "I believe that there is no god except the One the Israelites believe in, and I am of those who submit." Now? When you have rebelled before, and been of the corrupters? Today We will preserve your body, so that you become a sign for those after you. But most people are heedless of Our signs " (10:90-92). We infer from the underlined part that this sign is only for the Israelites who saw the corpse of the drowned self-deified Pharaoh thrown to the shore by the waves of the Red Sea. This is to assure them that self-deified persons are actually mortals; by the way, how many enthroned tyrants of the Arab countries took heed of the corpse of the murdered, self-deified Kaddafi, the tyrannical pharaoh of Libya?! None, we think! Of course, since the deep-state men of Moses' Pharaoh drowned along with him in the Red Sea, no one mummified/embalmed the corpse of Pharaoh; all dead bodies decompose and turn into dust within the earth, as per the Lord God's Divine Will, and this fact was told by Moses to Pharaoh: "From it We created you, and into it We will return you, and from it We will bring you out another time. We showed him Our signs, all of them, but he denied and refused. He said, "Did you come to us to drive us out of our land with your magic, O Moses?" (20:55-57).

About the Quranic Terms Qintar & Qanatir

Published in July 26, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … Do the Quranic terms Qintar (a singular word) and Qanatir (its plural form) refer to measurement unit of weight or not? Any ideas? … Thank you …

Answer:

They never refer to measurement unit of weight as far as the Quran is concerned; they refer to weights in later eras within the Arabic tongue. In the Quranic text, both terms refer only to amassed/hoarded heaps of money: "Among the People of the Book is he, who, if you entrust him with a heap/ Qintar of gold, he will give it back to you. And among them is he, who, if you entrust him with a single coin, he will not give it back to you, unless you keep after him..." (3:75); "Adorned for the people is the love of desires, such as women, and children, and piles upon piles/ Qanatir of gold and silver..." (3:14); "If you wish to replace one wife with another, and you have given one of them a Qintar/ heap of money, take nothing back from it. Would you take it back fraudulently and sinfully?" (4:20).

Beer Containing Alcohol!

Published in July 27, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, …  The well-known Saudi sheikh Ibn Otheimein in his famous fatwa asserted it is OK to drink beer which contain a small percentage of alcohol (less than 5%) since it hardly causes drunkenness; what do you think of this fatwa? Is it a good one or a corrupt one? … Thank you …

Answer:

This is very wrong; it is a corrupt fatwa which has nothing to do with Islam; Quran-believing Muslims must never drink beer which contains any percentage of alcohol (even 1%) since it is prohibited in Islam (i.e., the Quran only) to drink wine or alcohol of any type. We never care about views/edicts/fatwas of obsequious sheikhs who are eager to please their alcohol-loving gods (i.e., enthroned tyrants). The Quranic command to avoid wine means never to drink even a single drop of any alcoholic beverages of any kind.

Good Dying Moments!

Published in July 28, 2020

Question: …  Dear Sir, … The Muhammadans, as per their silly fiqh and sillier hadiths, assume that dying in a good moment is an indicator of being forgiven by Allah; they implore and wish ardently to die while; e.g., praying or performing a good deed.....This is an absurd and ridiculous notion! What do you think? …  Thank you …

Answer:

You are quite right; the good dying moment is when the angels of death inform the dying soul of its fate in Paradise (and this cannot be witnessed by the living persons who surround a dying person). Of course, this is based on lifelong piety and good deeds. Please read our book, in English, found on the following link, in order to get to know more details about this topic:

You Are Not to Blame

Published in July 28, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … I seek gaining money by uploading videos with useful content (about IT and smartphones...etc.) within the YouTube website; yet, some ads which come to my videos contain semi-naked young women! I feel guilty and I am to blame; I cannot control this! Does this mean my profit is ill-gotten money?! Am I a sinful person?! What is your own opinion? …  Thank you …

Answer:

You are not to blame; you are responsible only for what you do; you are not responsible for the content of any ads; you are not responsible for deeds of others; your money earned via YouTube is OK. The Lord God says the following in the Holy Quran: "No burdened soul can carry the burden of another..." (35:18).

You Are Welcome

Published in August 1, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … I've come across your great Quranism website by accident; What I like most is your great videos about pilgrimage; when will the Arabs wake up and remove polytheistic, pagan practices from their pilgrimage?! ...... I hope you will make more videos about this topic; I hope you will be given the chance to appear on Arab and Egyptian satellite TV channels one day........... True Muslims must never pay attention to the clergymen of Satan............ …  Thank you …

Answer:

You are more than welcome to our website; as a good Quranist, you should spread links of our writings and videos through the cyberspace to raise people's awareness about Quranism as the Only True Islam; we suffer media blackout imposed on our person by Quranism-hating Wahabis. Human Cattle!

Published in August 3, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … I admire very much your great Quranism website and I read on it daily.......... I find it silly that Sunnite fiqh scholars and clergymen assume that women must never fast during the days of their periods in Ramadan; yet, what about fasting 60 consecutive days to atone for manslaughter?! What if a woman killed someone by accident and must atone for it by fasting for 60 days? Would the period prevent her from repentance, then?! .............. …  Thank you …

Answer:

You are absolutely right; women should fast during their days of periods during Ramadan. There is no Quranic rule to make one suppose otherwise. Please do not pay much attention to the human cattle who are the clergymen of the terrestrial religions of the Muhammadans; each one of them is a hopeless case. They are more misguided than cattle; the following verses apply to them: "The worst of animals to God are the deaf and dumb - those who do not reason. Had God recognized any good in them, He would have made them hear; and had He made them hear, they would have turned away defiantly. " (6:22-23).

Going on a Hunger Strike

Published in August 4, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … Some political prisoners and those who are unjustly imprisoned go on a hunger strike to protest against their tyrannical oppressors; yet, some die because of this hunger strike; are they, then, condemned to Hell like those who committed suicide or not?  … Thank you …

Answer:

This is up to the Lord God to decide; the Lord God does not punish those who are forced to do something; yet, we should bear in mind that the Omniscient Lord God knows all what is inside each soul; hence, He knows if a dead person deliberately sought suicide or not. Those who unjustly, defiantly kill themselves have committed aggression against the Lord God and will enter into Hell.

The Guiding Inspiration Granted to Muhammad

Published in July 12, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … As a Quranist, I was arguing with a Sunnite man; he insists on asserting that Prophet Muhammad receiving guiding inspiration and commands from Allah apart from receiving the Quranic text. Is that true? How? Is there a Quranic proof of this? Any ideas? … Thank you  …

Answer:

Please read more within our archive of fatwas and articles before posing repeated questions. We repeat briefly here that the guiding inspiration was received by all prophets/messengers of the Lord God; e.g., when Noah was commanded to build the Ark, when Moses was spoken to by the Lord God after and before he received the Scripture, and, of course, Muhammad also received guiding inspiration. This is inferred from certain Quranic indications about his immigration to Yathreb, about the battle of the confederates, about the story of the three men who remained at home during battle mentioned in the Quranic Chapter Nine, and about the quarrel between Muhammad and two of his wives mentioned in the Quranic Chapter 66. Of course, this guiding inspiration granted to Muhammad has no source but the Holy Quran; i.e., no one is to add to the instances of this guiding inspiration any stories (or rather devilish myths) never mentioned in the Quranic text. Any guiding inspiration granted to Muhammad but never mentioned in the Quran belongs to the unknown/invisible metaphysical aspect of the past and is, therefore, never part of Islam; we are only to believe in the Quranic indications of the instances when Muhammad received guiding inspiration from the Lord God.

About the Magicians of Moses' Pharaoh

Published in July 19, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, …  What are the moral lessons which you draw from the Quranic story of the magicians of Moses' Pharaoh and their fate (their being brutally put to death by Pharaoh)? … Thank you …

Answer:

The Lord God mentions in the Holy Quran that when such magicians served Pharaoh at first, they assumed that the power and the glory of Pharaoh will make them win the contest against Moses; yet, when they saw the miracle granted to Moses, they believed with him in the Lord God and they disregarded the threats of Pharaoh who was a self-deified tyrant; he had them crucified in palm-trees after having their limbs cut off. Their faith in the Lord God is deep and they never wavered; they never feared the expected severe punishment of Pharaoh and answered him in great, wise words indicating their deep faith inside their hearts/souls when he was furious that they believed with Moses without asking his permission first. At first, their magic/sorcery made Moses feel dazzled and afraid, but sorcery/magic cannot stand before the miracles granted to Moses by the Lord God. The Egyptian magicians of Pharaoh are good examples or role-models of true, sincere faith; their story in the Quranic Chapter 29 tells us that faith/belief is not merely words to be uttered; rather, it is a stance which will be tested in this life/world; only sincere believers pass this test as they seek only to gratify their Lord God; they never wait for applause or a reward from their corrupt societies; true believers should expect persecution since declaring their monotheism means their rejection of, or disbelief in, the dominant terrestrial/earthly religion with its myths, practices, and clergymen of Satan. This requires patience and piety while facing persecution and ostracism. This is why the Egyptian magicians of Pharaoh declared their deep faith before Pharaoh and never feared his decision (expected by them) to put them to death in a brutal manner. In the Quranic text, the Lord God repeats the details of the story of the Egyptian magicians so that believers would draw moral lessons.

Between Wrath and Tests

Published in August 6, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, …  I am now experiencing several hardships and ordeals; yet, how would I know for sure, as a Quranist monotheistic man, whether they are an indication of the Lord God's wrath against me or they are tests in life? How can I obtain the mercy of the Lord God? ..............  Please Help me! Any ideas? Any pieces of advice? … Thank you …

Answer:

Truly pious monotheistic believers do not experience the wrath of the Lord God in this world since they never fall into the trap of polytheism/disbelief and never commit grave sins (e.g., murder of the innocent ones and committing grave injustices). Yet, all people make mistakes/mishaps/lapses and commit small sins; this results in their punishment in this world by the Lord God. Of course, the Lord God tells us the following facts in the Holy Quran.

1- The ordeals/hardships experienced by someone are the result of sins committed though the Lord God pardons many of them: "Whatever misfortune befalls you, it is because of what your hands have earned; and yet He pardons much." (42:30); "If God were to hold the humankind for their injustices, He would not leave upon it a single creature, but He postpones them until an appointed time. Then, when their time arrives, they will not delay it by one hour, nor will they advance it." (16:61); "If God were to punish the people for what they have earned, He would not leave a single living creature on its surface. But He defers them until a stated time. Then, when their time has arrived - God is Observant of His creatures." (35:45).

2- Of course, tests of life experienced by all human beings include hardships/ordeals/misfortunes and also bounties; for instance, Solomon's test of life was his being a very rich king; the test of Job was being taken severely ill for a long duration; both Solomon and Job passed the tests of life within piety; of course, the true believers pass the tests of life (adversities and prosperity) within piety and patience and being thankful to their Lord God.

3- Adversities and prosperity as part of the tests of life belong to the inevitable fates preordained by the Lord God; this is why true monotheists accepts them within being content and thankful; they never despair in times of adversity, and they never feel too happy in times of prosperity; their focus is to gratify the Lord God and succeed in passing the tests of life: "No calamity occurs on earth, or in your souls, but it is in a Book, even before We make it happen. That is easy for God. That you may not sorrow over what eludes you, nor exult over what He has given you. God does not love the proud snob." (57:22-23).
