Complete Ablution for Men After Having Sex

Published in March 19, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … I cannot understand why husbands should bathe/shower as a religious obligation after their having marital sex with their wives? Are men, after ejaculation, deemed 'impure'? Why?! Any ideas? … Thank you …

Answer:

Quran-believing monotheists should never question or cast doubt on the Lord God's commands in the Quran; Iblis/Satan is the disbelieving, arrogant one who posed questions stubbornly and defiantly in order to disobey the Lord God. The Lord God's Quranic commands include that men should bathe (i.e., to perform complete ablution) after having marital sex or after ejaculation in general even when it occurs without having sex; men as well as women are never impure: "O you who believe! Do not approach prayers while you are drunk, so that you know what you say; nor after sexual orgasm - unless you are travelling - until you have bathed..." (3:43); "...If you had intercourse, then bathe..." (5:6).

About the Quranic Verse 29:38

Published in March 20, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … What is meant by the underlined verb here: "And Aad and Thamood. It has become clear to you from their dwellings. Satan embellished for them their deeds, barring them from the Path, even though they could see." (29:38)? Does this means they had scientific advancement? Were Aad and Thamood more advanced in their civilizations than Arabs in the 7th century Arabia? Any ideas? … Thank you …

Answer:

In 29:38, the verb (to see) means they had discernment and reasoning mind; their ruins/monuments were admired by Arabs who saw them in the trade routes; of course, many of the ancient nations (including the Pharaonic civilization in Ancient Egypt) had more civilization and advancement than Arabs of the 7th century Arabia: "Those before them also denied the Truth, yet they have not attained one-tenth of what We had given them..." (34:45). The Quran has urged Arabs to roam the earth to see the ruins/monuments of the ancient nations who were mightier and more advanced: "Have they not travelled the earth and seen how those before them ended up? They were more powerful than them, and they cultivated the land and developed it more than they developed it..." (30:9); "Have they not journeyed in the land and observed the fate of those who preceded them? They were superior to them in strength. But nothing can defeat God in the heavens or on Earth. He is indeed Omniscient and Omnipotent." (35:44); "Have they not travelled through the earth, and seen the consequences for those before them? They were stronger than them, and they left more impact on earth. But God seized them for their sins, and they had no defender against God." (40:21); "Have they not journeyed through the land, and seen the outcome for those before them? They were more numerous than they, and had greater power and influence on earth. But what they had achieved availed them nothing." (40:82). For more details about the civilizations of Aad and Thamood and other ancient nations, we refer you to our book, in English, titled "An Imaginary CNN Interview with Prophet Muhammad", found on this link:

About the Quranic Verse 5:6

Published in March 22, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … I admire your great writings and YouTube videos, but I have a question about bodily purification in 5:6. ......................... … Thank you …

Answer:

We refer you to our previous fatwas/articles in English about this topic and to the subtitled-into-English episodes about purification in our YouTube show Quranic Moments. We have mentioned before that ease/facilitation is the legislative purpose in all Islamic sharia laws regarding acts of worship including prayers and ablution. We have mentioned before that the grave sins of Sunnite authors/imams include inventing countless details about purification of one's body with water while they neglected piety within prayers and purifying one's heart from polytheism of deifying things/tombs and mortals.

About (Mis)guidance and the Human Free Will

Published in March 22, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … If any given person tends to cling to (mis)guidance, is this part of predestined fate imposed by the Lord God or not? Any ideas? … Thank you …

Answer:

Of course not. We have mentioned before that the Lord God has created man as a free agent; people have their own free will and freedom of choice; they freely choose (mis)guidance and the Lord God increases their (mis)guidance as per the choice they made in the first place. "If you disbelieve, God is Independent of you, yet He does not approve disbelief on the part of His servants. And if you are thankful, He will approve that in you. No bearer of burden can bear the burden of another. Then to your Lord is your return; and He will inform you of what you used to do. He is aware of what the hearts contain." (39:7); "God increases in guidance those who accept guidance. And the things that endure - the righteous deeds - have the best reward with your Lord, and the best outcome." (19:76); "As for those who are guided, He increases them in guidance, and He has granted them their righteousness." (47:17).

Insistence on Masturbation

Published in March 23, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, …  I am a young man and I cannot do without masturbation from time to time to relieve the sexual tension; you have told me, as an answer to a previous question I posed, that masturbation is a small sin or a mistake/mishap/lapse which can be remitted by the Lord God when one avoids grave sins; yet, what about this Quranic verse "And those who, when they commit an indecency or wrong themselves, remember God and ask forgiveness for their sins - and who forgives sins except God? And they do not persist in their wrongdoing while they know." (3:135)? I mean to ask you: Does my insistence to masturbate from time to time without repentance would make me among the Hell dwellers?! Any ideas? … Thank you …

Answer:

The Lord God says the following in the Holy Quran: "And race towards forgiveness from your Lord, and Paradise as wide as the heavens and the earth, prepared for the pious ones. Those who give in prosperity and adversity, and those who restrain anger, and those who forgive people. God loves the doers of good. And those who, when they commit an indecency or wrong themselves, remember God and ask forgiveness for their sins - and who forgives sins except God? And they do not persist in their wrongdoing while they know. Those - their reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and gardens beneath which rivers flow, abiding therein forever. How excellent is the reward of the workers." (3:133-136); "If you avoid the worst of what you are forbidden, We will remit your sins, and admit you by a Gate of Honor." (4:31); "Those who avoid gross sins and indecencies - except for minor lapses - your Lord is of Vast Forgiveness. He knows you well, ever since He created you from the earth, and ever since you were embryos in your mothers’ wombs. So do not acclaim your own virtue; He is fully aware of the pious ones." (53:32). You know that masturbation is a sin; you are aware of this fact but you have to do it. The contexts of the Quranic verses we have quoted here are about the pious ones who will enter into Paradise; they are of two ranks: the higher rank of the Forerunners and the lower rank of those on the Right.

Unable to Fast during Next Ramadan

Published in March 24, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … My circumstances would not enable me to fast during the next Ramadan; I am entrapped in the foreign country where I am staying now because I cannot return to Egypt because of cancelled flights due to the Coronavirus epidemic; I may be allowed to return to Egypt by next Ramadan; by this time, I would have been kept away from my dear wife for more than six months; I feel I will not be able to fast while I am with her in our house in Cairo next Ramadan (you know what I mean!). I will not be ill or traveling in Ramadan; I feel I will have no excuses to stop fasting; yet, what am I supposed to do?! I miss my wife so much! I am sure I will not be able to fast............ Any advice?! … Thank you …

Answer:

Please read our book on fasting and watch our subtitled-into-English YouTube videos about fasting in our show titled (Quranic Moments). Fasting can avoided by those who are unable to do it for any reason including your case and those who work hard and feel fatigued. You can skip fasting but you must offer food/money for every day you miss within Ramadan (the food items must be among the best ones you actually consume in your everyday life as per your standard of living).

The Israelites & the Muhammadans

Published in March 24, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … Some People of the Book (i.e., Jews and Christians) in their places of worship sing certain texts as a form of worship; similarly, the Sunnites sing the Quran and they also deify mortals in their mosques as part of their acts of worship; is such a similarity something by chance or coincidental?! Any ideas? … Thank you …

Answer:

The Quranic term (Jews) refers only to the disobedient, disbelieving ones among the Israelites and NOT all Israelites as assumed by the Muhammadans. The Israelites in the Quran are divided into the usual categories for all human beings in general in all eras and for contemporaries of Muhammad in particular; i.e., those forerunners whose monotheism and many good deeds make them nearer to the Lord God, those who mixed good deeds and bad ones but repented, and those disbelieving polytheists who die as such without repentance. Christians deify Jesus as a 'son' of God or a deity wearing human flesh; this blasphemous polytheism is never acceptable in Islam. In contrast, Israelites of today are monotheists; they even dare not mention the Holy Name of the Lord God, as per what we have heard from one of the Israelites who talked to our person in English; we hope our readers would verify this piece of information about today's Israelites. Of course, the Muhammadans are more disbelieving and polytheistic than the polytheistic sinners among the People of the Book; they reject the Quran in order to believe in myths/hadiths and they deify thousands of mortals, tens of 'holy' books, and hundreds of thousands of mausoleums; some Muhammadans in all eras are disbelieving polytheists in terms of behavior since they have committed military aggression from the era of the sinful caliph Abou Bakr  until our modern times (e.g., Saudi aggression against Yemen); this is not to mention civil wars. In their history, many Muhammadans rulers and soldiers massacred civilians in many instances; they lack piety and conscience. They Muhammadans typically persecute others in all eras; they hate and persecute Quranists, for instance, and they continue to impose media blackout on our person (as a Quranist thinker); yet, the Muhammadans assume themselves as the only people/nation/Umma which will be entering into Paradise in the Hereafter! How come?!

Arab Troops Led by Osama Ibn Zayd

Published in March 25, 2020

Question:  … Dear Sir, … History tells us about the Arab troops supposedly prepared by Muhammad shortly before his death and that he appointed the young manOsama Ibn Zayd as a leader of such troops. How come that such troops aimed at aggression and not self-defense? As a historian, do you think that this historical account true or untrue? … Thank you …

Answer:

We have mentioned before that such false historical narratives which are like b-movies have been invented to please the Abbasid caliph Abou Jaffer Al-Mansour by the Abbasid author Mohamed Ibn Ishaq whose fake biography of Muhammad portrays him as a big criminal who breached peace treaties, committed bloodshed and assassination, and enslaved women like this caliph.

Treating Wives Kindly

Published in March 25, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … I am the Iraqi Quranist man who sent you an email message before about my being mistreated by my extremist Shiite wife who has deserted my bed for years; my second problem with her is that my three children (the eldest among them is 17 years old) are made by my wife to worship at Shiite mausoleums in Iraq and she talks to them about venerating and deifying Ali and his wife and 2 sons...etc. I cannot convince her to let our children be! She accuses me of being heretic! She is never convinced by the Quranist notions I told her about; she sometimes threatens me to incite Shiite militias to use violence against me! ....... Will the Lord God punish me for leaving my children to be misguided by my polytheistic Shiite wife?! She assumes I am a Sunnite and I can never tell her that I am a Quranist Muslim! I feel so sorry for my children when they perform shite rituals to please their Mom! What am I supposed to do?! Any advice?!  … Thank you …

Answer:

You should remember that you cannot guide any loved ones; the Lord God increases the guidance or misguidance of those who choose (mis)guidance. For instance, you were a Sunnite who chose to convert to Quranism and to reject the Sunnite religion of Satan. Likewise, your children and any other persons can choose to reject the Sufi, Sunnite, or Shiite religion of their fathers and to believe in the Quran only. One day, each one of your children will choose for themselves. Our advice to you is to hold a truce with you wife and to treat her kindly as per the Quranic command; this will make you avoid many troubles; at least, you will set a good example and a role-model for your children; one day, they may be convinced of your religion rejected by your wife. When your children will be open-minded one day, you can talk to them calmly about Quranism and Quranic facts especially regarding the call to reject deifying mortals and tombs. Of course, you should allow your children to choose freely without compulsion or coercion on your part.

Hating the Truth

Published in March 26, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … The Lord God says the following in the Quran: "And they will cry, “O Malik, let your Lord finish us off.” He will say, “You are staying.” We have given you the Truth, but most of you hate the Truth." (43:77-78). Does this mean that there will be Hell dwellers among those who did not hate the Truth? … Thank you …

Answer:

Yes; this is because knowing the Truth is not enough to enter into Paradise; one has to adhere to the Truth and recommend it within patience as per the Quranic Chapter 103: "By Time. The human being is in loss. Except those who believe, and do good works, and advocate the Truth, and recommend patience." (103:1-3). Of course, there are those who are fully aware of the Quranic Truth and they do not hate it but they are heedless of it and never apply it in their lives; there are other sinners who fully know the Quranic Truth but conceal it and choose to spread myths/hadiths instead to serve their own worldly interests. There are those who never care about the Truth because their focus is only on this worldly, transient life. Hence, not all Hell dwellers are among haters of the Truth.

We Have Big Hopes, But...

Published in March 26, 2020

Question: …  Dear Sir, … When I heard about Quranists and was very curious to know more about them, many Salafist friends warned me against Quranism ....... As I ponder the despicable conditions of Arabs and how Salafists and terrorist MB members destroy the political life and social aspects in the Arab countries, I got convinced that (Wahabi) Sunnites have nothing to do with Islam ...... I am now a confirmed Quranist...... My suggestion to you is to group all your YouTube videos and PDF books in one place and to put them in compressed files to be downloaded easily by everyone ...........   …  Thank you …

Answer:

Of course, we have big hopes and plans about what to offer many services for free to our dear fellow Quranists within our website and YouTube channel; yet, we are impecunious and no one donates money to our VA-based IQC except few noble persons from time to time; their money helps maintain the website and we are able to make new videos. Sadly, the Muhammadans spend millions of US$ in their media and in the cyberspace to sell/spread falsehoods and myths; more sadly still, their poisonous goods/ware are selling like freshly baked bread! Most people never care about the Quranist religious reform; secular Christians never care about our line of thought and so are atheists and other minorities in the Arab world whom we defend. Our website is fought against by Wahabi hackers; our reputation is tarnished by Sunnites, Sufis, and Shiites who hate Quranism. May the Lord God come to our aid and help.

About the Quranic Verse 7:64

Published in March 27, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, …  What is meant by this Quranic phrase about the drowned people of Noah: "...They were blind people." (7:64)? …  Thank you …

Answer:

The term (blind) here in 7:64 is intended figuratively; they blinded themselves in the sense that they chose misguidance and rejected God's Word.

Who Is More Misguided?!

Published in March 27, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … In your view, why have some European countries allowed the Azan (call to prayers) in mosques as an exception during these days of the Coronavirus epidemic? …  Thank you …

Answer:

Many people in the West began to supplicate to the Lord God during this crisis of the epidemic. The tolerance found in the West is never found in the planet of the Muhammadans. One cathedral in Cordova, Spain, was formerly a mosque, and we watched a YouTube video about the Azan (call to prayers) being made in this cathedral from time to time; this is arranged by monks there to remind people that this cathedral was formerly a mosque. In contrast, the Muhammadans are more aggressive and misguided; for instance, the Umayyad caliph Abdul-Malik Ibn Marwan stole a cathedral in Damascus to turn it into the Umayyad grand mosque; this is not to mention his stealing a Jewish temple site (ascribed to Solomon) to build his falsehood/abomination Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem; see our book in English found on this link:

About the Quranic Verse 25:12

Published in March 28, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … What is meant by this Quranic verse about Hell: ''When it sees them from a distant place, they will hear it raging and roaring." (25:12)? …  Thank you …

Answer:

The pronoun (it) in 25:12 refers to Hell; its explosions will be like as if it will rage and roar; the distant place is where Hell dwellers will stand before they are thrown into Hell and pass through its gates. "When they are thrown into it, they will hear it roaring, as it seethes." (67:8).

Her Dad Is A Drunkard

Published in March 28, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir,  …  You know how sensitive the situation is for Arab Muslims inside the USA; my dad is an alcoholic; I am his only daughter; I had to move into another distant house to avoid troubles he has caused to me; I help him, from a distance, as much as I can; he insists he has the right to know my new address; I refuse to tell him where I live because he made a scene near my previous apartment and I was scandalized and mortified; I had to move into a new house elsewhere; I fear for my reputation and I fear my neighbors; I meet with my dad in a public place away from my house; am I wrong in never giving him my new address? Any ideas?  … Thank you …

Answer:

You are right, our dear daughter, regarding never to give your dad your address; continue to help him while avoiding him.

Jacob Is Israel

Published in March 29, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … Some Arab researchers and historians assume that Jacob is a historical figure and Israel is another historical figure; they intentionally misunderstand many Quranic verses, I think. ......... What is your own view? …  Thank you …

Disgraceful Ignorance

Published in March 29, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir,  … I've read many books by some Arab and European researchers, historians, and archeologists who assert that there are no solid proofs about the existence of Judea and the kingdom of David and Solomon in Canaan.......... What do you think? … Thank you …

Answer:

This is disgraceful ignorance by writers who follow their own whims, and their fabrications contradict both the Quran and historical facts. To read a more detailed answer, please read the annexes of our book, in English, titled "Egypt in the Holy Quran", found on this link:

About Sincere Repentance

Published in March 29, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … I am of Syrian origin and I was not really religious when I lived in Syria and when I moved to Turkey before I settled finally in Germany; I was heedless of the Hereafter; I rejected fasting and prayers for years; in Germany, I committed the grave sin of fornication many times! Of course, I mixed good deeds with grave sins and bad deeds, I think. Years later, I felt I must repent; I felt hollow from within my inside; it is as if my soul was empty; the void was killing me; I felt deep remorse and decided to adhere to piety and acts of worship; I am sure that the Lord God will guide me since I seek guidance; I reject polytheism and I learn a lot from your great website; yet, I wonder if the Lord God will (not) accept my repentance! How would I know? Would the Lord God send me a sign showing my fate in the Hereafter?! Any ideas? May the Lord God bless and reward you  … Thank you …

Answer:

You are still in the test of life since you are still alive in the world; we hope that your repentance is sincere and that your adherence to piety will continue for the rest of your life; the acceptance of repentance and remittance of sins will be on the Last Day for those who will enter into Paradise when the Lord God will accept their good deeds, repentance, and monotheistic faith; regarding fate in the Hereafter, no soul is given glad tiding of Paradise or bad news of Hell while the soul is alive on earth; this occurs ONLY upon dying; this news is brought by the angels of death; they inform a dying soul of its fate (either in Paradise or in Hell) as the irrevocable result of their passing or failing test of life. "Repentance is available from God for those who commit evil out of ignorance, and then repent soon after. These - God will relent towards them. God is Knowing and Wise. But repentance is not available for those who commit evils, until when death approaches one of them, he says, “Now I repent,” nor for those who die as disbelievers. These - We have prepared for them a painful torment." (4:17-18); "Say, “O My servants who have transgressed against themselves: do not despair of God’s mercy, for God forgives all sins. He is indeed the Forgiver, the Clement.” And turn to your Lord, and submit to Him, before the torment comes upon you. Then you will not be helped. And follow the best of what was revealed to you from your Lord, before the torment comes upon you suddenly, while you are unaware." (39:53-55).

About the Quranic Verses 21:91 & 66:12

Published in March 30, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … What is the difference between the underlined words in the following Quranic verses about Mary, the mother of Jesus: "And she who guarded her virginity. We breathed into her by Our Spirit, and made her and her son a sign to the world." (21:91); "And Mary, the daughter of Imran, who guarded her womb, and so We breathed into it by Our Spirit..." (66:12)? Any ideas? … Thank you …

Answer:

The womb is an organ inside any woman's body; it is OK to refer to it or to the woman's body in general in both Quranic verses about Mary.

About the Quranic Verse 14:7

Published in March 30, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … What is meant by this Quranic phrase: "...If you give thanks, I will grant you increase..." (14:7)? Any ideas?  … Thank you …

Answer:

The Lord God says the following in the Holy Quran: "And when your Lord proclaimed: “If you give thanks, I will grant you increase; but if you disbelieve, My torment is severe.”" (14:7). Being thankful to the Lord God has several meanings; among them is adherence to the monotheistic belief; being unthankful means to cling stubbornly to polytheism/disbelief.
