About the Quranic Verse 30:43

Published in March 3, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … What doesthe Quranic Verse 30:43 mean exactly?   … Thank you …

Answer:

The Lord God says the following in the Quran: "So devote yourself to the upright religion, before there comes from God a Day that cannot be averted. On that Day, they will be shocked." (30:43). This means that this world is a transient one; the Hour is inevitable and so is the Last Day (Resurrection, Judgment,...etc.); the only winners who will deserve Paradise are the pious monotheists who adhere to the True Religion (as per the Lord God's Book only) and dedicate it, along with their many good deeds and sincere acts of worship, only to the Lord God. In contrast, polytheists and disbelievers are shocked upon dying and upon Resurrection since they are losers in Hell.

About the Quranic Verse 41:17

Published in March 4, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … The Lord God says the following in the Quran: "And as for Thamood, We guided them, but they preferred blindness over guidance..." (41:17); does this means they loved misguidance more than they loved guidance? … Thank you …

Answer:

No; this is not about to love/like something more than any other; to prefer misguidance means to deny/reject guidance (i.e., the Divine Message) and to willingly opt for misguidance/polytheism. The same meaning is repeated here: "O you who believe! Do not ally yourselves with your parents and your siblings if they prefer disbelief to belief..." (9:23); "Those who prefer the present life to the Hereafter, and repel from the path of God, and seek to make it crooked - these are far astray." (14:3); "That is because they have preferred the worldly life to the Hereafter, and because God does not guide the disbelieving people." (16:107).

The Verb (To Wait) in the Quranic Text

Published in March 4, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … What are the different meanings or semantic levels of the verb (to wait) in the Quranic text? Any ideas? … Thank you …

Answer:

The literal meaning of (to wait) is exemplified here: "...then wait until God executes His judgment.” God does not guide the sinful people." (9:24); "Say, “Everybody is waiting, so wait. You will know who the people of the Straight Path are, and who is rightly guided." (20:135); "He is nothing but a man possessed. Just wait for him for a while.”" (23:25); "Say, “Go on waiting; I will be waiting with you.”" (52:31).

The meaning of (to wait) until something (or a duration) ends is exemplified here: this is about waiting period for divorced women to make sure they are (not) pregnant before they can remarry: "Those who vow abstinence from their wives must wait for four months. But if they reconcile - God is Forgiving and Merciful...Divorced women shall wait by themselves for three periods..." (2:226-228); this is about waiting period for widows to make sure they are (not) pregnant before they can remarry: "...their widows shall wait by themselves for four months and ten days..." (2:234).

This is about (to wait) in the sense of ambushing or scheming/conspiring to harm some people: "Those who lie in wait for you: if you attain victory from God, they say, “Were we not with you?” But if the disbelievers get a turn, they say, “Did we not side with you, and defend you from the believers?” God will judge between you on the Day of Resurrection; and God will give the disbelievers no means of overcoming the believers." (4:141); "ay, “Are you expecting for us anything other than one of the two excellences? As for us: we are expecting that God will afflict you with a punishment from Himself, or at our hands. So wait, we are waiting with you.”" (9:52); "And among the Desert-Arabs are those who consider their contribution to be a fine. And they wait for a reversal of your fortunes. Upon them will fall the cycle of misfortune. God is Hearing and Knowing." (9:98); "They will call to them, “Were we not with you?” They will say, “Yes, but you cheated your souls, and waited, and doubted, and became deluded by wishful thinking, until the command of God arrived; and arrogance deceived you regarding God.”" (57:14).

Other than God

Published in March 5, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … The Quranic phrase (other than God) is repeated a lot within the contexts of asserting the monotheism of (There is no God but Allah); right? Any ideas?  … Thank you …

Answer:

You are absolutely right. We often quote these Quranic verses within our writings to preach/ warn and remind the Muhammadans before it is too late for them: "He said, “Shall I seek for you a deity other than God, when He has favored you over all other people?”" (7:140); "Say, “Am I to seek a Lord other than God, when He is the Lord of all things?”..." (6:164); "Say, “Shall I take for myself an ally other than God, Originator of the heavens and the earth, and He feeds and is not fed?”..." (6:14); "Say, “Is it other than God you instruct me to worship, you ignorant ones?”" (39:64); "Say, “Have you considered? if God's punishment came upon you, or the Hour overtook you, would you call upon any other than God, if you are sincere?”" (6:40); "To Him belongs everything in the heavens and the earth; and to Him religion is dedicated. Do you, then, fear anyone other than God? " (16:52); "Do they desire other than the religion of God, when to Him has submitted everything in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, and to Him they will be returned? " (3:83); "“Shall I seek a judge other than God, when He is the One who revealed to you the Book, explained in detail?” ..." (6:114).

Myths of the Ancients

Published in March 5, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … When I was chatting online with one of the cultural elite members in my country, he told me he is an atheist and he tends to think that the Quran is mere mythology! The same stance of disbelievers who rejected the Quran is mentioned in the Quranic text; would you please write about this topic?  … Thank you …

Answer:

Of course, typically of atheists/disbelievers in all eras, they have accused the Celestial, Divine Book of the Lord God of being merely the myths of the ancients. The Arabs in the 7th century A.D. leveled the same accusation against the Holy Quran: "We were promised this before - we and our ancestors - these are nothing but myths of the ancients." (23:83 + 27:68); "When Our Verses are read to him, he says, “Myths of the ancients!”" (68:15 + 83:13) "...Until, when they come to you, to argue with you, those who disbelieve will say, “These are nothing but myths of the ancients.”" (6:25); "And when it is said to them, “What has your Lord sent down?” They say, “Myths of the ancients.”" (16:24); "And when Our Verses are read to them, they say, “We have heard. Had we wanted, we could have said the like of this; these are nothing but myths of the ancients.”" (8:31); "And they say, “Myths of the ancients; he wrote them down; they are dictated to him morning and evening.”" (25:5); "As for him who says to his parents, “Enough of you! Are you promising me that I will be raised up, when generations have passed away before me?” While they cry for God’s help, “Woe to you! Believe! The promise of God is true!” But he says, “These are nothing but myths of the ancients.”" (46:17).

Waiting, Again

Published in March 6, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … The command to wait is repeated in the Quran as a way to challenge the disbelievers; right? Any ideas? … Thank you …

Answer:

Yes; it comes within contexts of holding dialogues with disbelievers and to assert the fact that everyone is free to choose to (dis)believe and to (dis)obey while waiting for the Hour and the Judgment Day to bear the responsibility for one's choice: "Are they waiting for anything but for the angels to come to them, or for your Lord to arrive, or for some of your Lord’s signs to come? On the Day when some of your Lord’s signs come, no soul will benefit from its faith unless it had believed previously, or had earned goodness through its faith. Say, “Wait, we too are waiting.” " (6:158); "He said, “Abomination and wrath have befallen you from your Lord. Are you arguing with me over names, which you and your ancestors invented, for which God sent down no authority? Just wait; I am waiting with you.”" (7:71); "And say to those who do not believe, “Act according to your ability; and so will we.” “And wait; we too are waiting.”" (11:121-22); "Say, “On the Day of Victory, the faith of those who disbelieved will be of no avail to them, and they will not be granted respite.” So turn away from them, and wait. They too are waiting. " (32:29-30); "And they say, “If only a miracle was sent down to him from his Lord.” Say, “The realm of the unseen belongs to God; so wait, I am waiting with you.”" (10:20); "Do they expect anything but the likes of the days of those who passed away before them? Say, “Then wait, I will be waiting with you.”" (10:102).

The Mottoes of the Terrorist MB Organization

Published in March 7, 2020

Question:  … Dear Sir, … The MB members in the past (i.e., before 2010) used to raise the motto (Islam is the solution); what do you think of this meaningless, vague motto? What about their other mottoes? … Thank you …

Answer:

It is a grave sin to abuse the name of Islam in politics; besides, the terrorist MB organization members are Sunnite Wahabis and not Muslims; they are the arch-enemies of the Only True Islam: the Quran. Islam means peace, justice, religious freedom, human rights, dignity, mercy...etc. within monotheism and the belief in Allah and in the Hereafter. Such a motto is a means of deception of the gullible, naïve masses by Wahabis (Salafists + MB) who never explain how to apply such a motto and if it indicates Sunnite hadiths and sharia of Satan or not. The MB members who ruled Egypt for one year (2012 – 2013) never applied this empty-of-meaning motto because they are hypocrites and they know nothing about Islam in the first place; they have abandoned the Quran like the rest of the Muhammadans; they caused the death of many citizens and they spread corruption and caused much damage in Egypt; in our writings, we have refuted the Wahabi theocrats' claims and offered Quranism-based vision of rule which matches human rights and democracy. In fact, our writings prove that the West democracies in their laws and constitutions are nearer to applying the Quran than the Arab countries of the Muhammadans. The good mottoes in politics should never abuse the name of Islam; these mottoes can be as follows: (Democracy is the solution); (Secularism is the solution); (Applying human rights is the solution).

About the Book Titled (Al-Kafi) by Al-Kulayni

Published in March 7, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … I read a number of pages from the book titled (Al-Kafi) by Al-Kulayni the Shiite imam and I find it has pearls of wisdom regardless of some strange narratives/hadiths which I disliked very much, but this book is more elevated and refined than the one of the cursed Al-Bokhary.......Would you write a book or a lengthy article about (Al-Kafi) by Al-Kulayni … Thank you …

Answer:

We have read the entire book titled (Al-Kafi) by the inveterate liar Al-Kulayni; it contains many laughter-inducing myths/hadiths fit for curing a thinker's depression; years ago, we began writing a book about refuting the silly hadiths written in this Shiite book, but because of lack of time and effort, we have postponed this mission in order to focus on other books.

Devilish Whispers within Prayers, Again

Published in March 7, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, …  I tend to forget to perform the five daily prayers; I am very lazy; even when I pray, I lose concentration because of devilish thoughts that cross my mind! .......... Please help me! Any advice? … Thank you …

Answer:

Prayers are real believer's discourse addressed to Almighty God, in piety and fear, as one supplicates and implores God while glorifying Him reverently and in hope of being forgiven. Rewards of prayers are as per one's piety.Be assured that God is Merciful and Forgiving, and you are right to remember always that He never burdens a soul beyond its capacity. One is to dedicate prayers only to remember and glorify God in piety. Satan and devils never stop trying to distract one during prayers, and this is why one must seek refuge in God against Satan during prayers by cursing Satan the outcast to despise Satan and to ask God's aid against him.

The Persistent Question

Published in March 9, 2020

Question: …  Dear Sir, …  I do believe that corruption has reached unprecedented levels in Egypt and I quote some incidents to prove this fact to you: ..........,............,..............,...........,......... The persistent question in my mind now is as follows: why is that?! …  Thank you …

Answer:

We wholeheartedly agree with you; corruption is the common currency in Egypt and it seems as if corruption is the rule/norm and its opposite (justice and equal opportunities for all) is the exception. Among the many reasons for such ghastly state of affairs are (1) the lack of justice, (2) the lack of might by citizens and the political will of rulers to uphold justice, and (3) the dominance of the corrupt, polytheistic Wahabi Sunnite religion of Satan.

About the Coronavirus, Again

Published in March 9, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … I feel angry because Saudi Arabian authorities stopped pilgrims coming for Umrah from reaching Mecca and closed the gates of the Sacred Kaaba Mosque. No one is going to be harmed or killed by the coronavirus except those whose preordained fate to die or suffer this way................ What do you think? …  Thank you …

Answer:

The epidemics are part of the ordeals/adversities to test human beings as part of preordained fates; the times of hardship are the perfect opportunity for souls to repent and correct their faiths in order to pass (not fail) the test of life; disbelievers/polytheists are the losers, whereas the patient, pious monotheists are the winners. Pestilences and epidemics are caused by viruses never seen by the naked eye; this is part of test/fate of adversities; such viruses are among the troops/soldiers of the Lord God: "...None knows the soldiers of your Lord except He..." (74:31).

Thanks for Making our Person Have a Good Laugh!

Published in March 9, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … You and other Quranists ridicule Sunnites like me; I quote to you this Quranic verse to prove to you that it is OK to consume the urine of camels, as per hadiths, to cure some cases of ill people; since it is never prohibited food or beverage in the Quran: "Say, “In what was revealed to me, I find nothing forbidden to a consumer who eats it, except carrion, or spilled blood, or the flesh of swine - because it is an abomination - or a sinful offering dedicated to other than God. But if someone is compelled by necessity, without being deliberate or malicious—your Lord is Forgiving and Merciful." (6:145)................. What do you think? …  Thank you …

Answer:

Your message has made us laugh out loud; a depressed thinker like our person is in need to have a good laugh every now and then. You did not read the articles we have written about the Quranic legislations regarding food items. We never wrote that drinking urine of camels would be prohibited. It is your right to be free to consume it as much as you like anytime whether you believe in laughter-inducing hadiths or not and whether animal urine is toxic bodily waste or not.

Sent to the Wrong Email Address!

Published in March 10, 2020

Question: ……  We offer our sincere congratulations for the Great Imam the Awaited Al-Mehdi for the birthday celebration of his grandfather the Emir of the Faithful Ali Ibn Abou Talib the closest friend and ally of the Holy Prophet Muhammad and the father of all Holy Imams whose benedictions we seek. Alawites are the pure souls who are the only carriers of the banners of the Holy Prophet Muhammad; they even bless the Kaaba when they circle it during pilgrimage......... Celebration of such holy feast includes venerating an worshiping at the mausoleum of Ali Ibn Abou Talib, the father of the Holy Imams Hussein and Hassan, and to beseech him to grant us his saintly intercession in this world and in the Hereafter...............

Answer:

It seems that the Shiite jackass who sent us such silly message has written a wrong email address; he must have meant to send it to Shiites in his list of email addresses; we are never a Shiite and this message was never addressed to our person intentionally; Shiite myths of deifying dead and killed persons make us laugh aloud. They are as silly as Sunnite and Sufi myths, and the hallucinating minds of those who believe in them reflect the mentality of animals/cattle.

Time and Registering Deeds of Human Souls

Published in March 10, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir,  … The employment of the tenses in Quranic verses baffles me; I feel that the past tense is sometimes employed regarding future events esp. the Last-Day events and recording one's deeds by the angels;......... Any ideas about the reason for that? ........... I would like to join your great website as a writer of articles; would you create me an account? .........  … Thank you …

Answer:

You are welcome to our Qurnaism website; send us your CV or data and the supervisor of our website, Dr. Othman M. Ali, will send you via email, your username and password. We remind you, our dear son, that Quranist researchers who write articles on our website must abide by two conditions: (A) never to quote hadiths/lies except to refute them using the Quranic verses, and (B) never to deny Quranic facts related to Quranism. Please wait for our coming book about the Quran and the Arabic grammar; we seek the aid of the Lord God to allow us the time and strength to finish writing it. The complicated and problematic issue of time and the contrast between the sense of time in Barsakh and on earth and the timeless eternity of the Hereafter is discussed in four of our English books found in the following links:

The Assumed Infallibility of the Human Devils!

Published in March 10, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … The Sunnites assume that all contemporaries of Prophet Muhammad were infallible; how can you refute such a myth? …  Thank you …

Answer:

The Lord God says the following in the Holy Quran: "Among the Desert-Arabs around you there are some hypocrites, and among the inhabitants of the city too. They have become adamant in hypocrisy. You do not know them, but We know them. We will torment them twice; then they will be returned to a severe torment." (9:101).

The Sunnites assume that their mortal deities are infallible because they deify historical figures who are men and women who lived during the era of Muhammad in Arabia. No human being (among prophets and non-prophets alike) is infallible; the Only Infallible Being is the Lord God Himself; we have written before in many of our books and articles that the Quranic verse 9:101 is about hypocrites who were adamant in hypocrisy and concealed their anti-Quran stance until Muhammad died and they ruled and committed the grave sin of aggression known as the Arab conquests; they are deified human devils; for more details that will provide an answer to your question, we refer you to our book, in English, titled "The Unspoken-of History of the Pre-Umayyad 'Righteous' Caliphs", found in this link:

Witnesses in this World and in the Hereafter

Published in March 11, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir,  … I sometimes wonder at the use of the term "witness(es)" in the Quranic text................... I am confused. Any ideas? … Thank you …

Answer:

The reason  for your confusion is the fact that the singular and plural modern-Arabic terms for "witness(es)" and "martyr(s)" are homophones. In contrast, the Quranic term "witness(es)'' is never employed to indicate martyrs or martyrdom at all. Witnesses in the Quran are (1) those present in the same time and place and can testify in this world regarding any case they have seen, and (2) those prophets/messengers and preachers of the Truth among non-prophets who will be witnesses in the Hereafter who will testify against their disbelieving contemporaries. As for those who died for God's sake while serving their cause, their souls are alive in a Barsakh-level Paradise; the Quran teaches us never to deem them as 'dead'; they may or may not join the Last-Day witnesses as per the circumstances of their getting killed. The term/notion of martyr(dom) is never mentioned in the Quranic text.

The Copy of the Quran Attributed to Othman

Published in March 11, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … History tells us that the caliph Othman supposedly burned 6 copies of the Quran containing errors and retained one correct copy and until now, it is attributed to him; yet, my question is as follows: Did Othman 'correct' or 'modify' the spelling of the Quranic text?! Did he add or omitted any words within any Quranic verses?! Any ideas? ....... As a historian, you know that Al-Bokhary chose 7593 hadiths only (out of 600 thousand hadiths circulated orally) deemed by him as 'verified' and 'correct'; yet, you and all Quranists disbelieve in hadiths; why don't you cast doubt on the Quran whose text is supposed to be arranged by Othman, then?! … Thank you …

Answer:

Firstly, no one wrote down any hadiths at all during the first century A.H., though many were fabricated/authored and spread orally by sheikhs handsomely paid by the Umayyads. Hadiths never pertain to Islam; even the just Umayyad caliph Omar Ibn Abdul-Aziz (assassinated by poison after a two-year rule) never believed in hadiths; when he assumed his position as caliph, his famous sermon/speech delivered to people in Damascus includes his acknowledging the fact that there is no book in Islam except the Lord God's Book: the Quran. As for the unjust, sinful caliph Othman, he never wrote a copy of the Quran and he never meddled in its text; the unjust Arab conquests during his reign reached their zenith and then stopped; in the conquered regions, some scribes wrote copies of the Quran containing errors in spelling; the caliph Othman had to burn such copies and to distributed copies from the original copy written by Muhammad himself in his own handwriting (a copy found in the chamber of Muhammad's wife Hafsa). This is the only good deed performed by the unjust caliph Othman. Sadly, the Muhammadans attribute their copies now to him. The tend to forget the fact that the Lord God preserves the Quranic text Himself in its current arrangement of verses and Chapters. The numerical miracles of the Quranic text proves that such arrangement is by the Lord God Himself and not any mortals. This is part of the Absolute Truth in the Quran; those who want to (dis)believe let them (dis)believe; on the Last Day, the Dominant Lord God will settle our disputes in religion.

Copies of the Quran Written by Ali and Ibn Massood?

Published in March 12, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir, … I am the young man who sent you the previous question about the copy of the Quran attributed to the caliph Othman; some views of some historians assert the existence of copies of the Quran, after Muhammad's death, attributed to Ali Ibn Abou Talib, his wife Fatima daughter of Muhammad, and to Abdullah Ibn Massood and that such copies contained errors and the caliph Othman had to burn such copies; is this true or not?! How come?! Besides, these three persons were ore religious and, of course, nearer to Muhammad, I suppose, and it is illogical to assume that their copies contained errors!....................  … Thank you …

Answer:

There is nothing called copies of the Quran ascribed to Ali, Fatima, or Ibn Massood; such a lie is a silly and laughter-inducing myth.

About the Quranic Verse 17:14

Published in March 12, 2020

Question: … Dear Sir,  … The Lord God says the following in the Quran: "“Read your book; today there will be none but yourself to call you to account.”" (17:14); this means each resurrected human soul will read its Book of Deeds; yet, what about those who have been illiterate in this transient world? What tongue/language would be read in the Book of Deeds? Any ideas? … Thank you …

Answer:

Please do not employ the conditions and measurements of this temporary world to envision or imagine what the Last Day will look like. The Quranic verses about the Last Day employ a figurative style and not a literal one. The Book of Deeds of each human soul is an audiovisual archive recorded by angels; it includes the good/bad faiths, stances, words, sentiments/feelings, movements, secrets, thoughts, and deeds of each soul; they are the basis for Judgment. This 'reading' is actually 'seeing' the Book of Deeds; sentiments, movements, etc. are a universal language/tongue shared by all human beings. For more details about this topic, we refer you to our book, in English, titled "Each Human Soul Has Two Bodies", found on the following link:
