Thirty Years after the Iranian Revolution:
Islam, Democracy, and the Crisis of Legitimacy
In light of the ongoing events in the aftermath of the tenth presidential
election in Iran, we are exploring the idea of allocating our next issue of
the Sociology of Islam and Muslim Societies Newsletter to examining the
implications of this crucial development for the Islamic political thought.
To that end, we are writing to solicit your reflection essays (1500-2000
words) for this special issue.
